Pros: - Adjustable waist can fit different body shapes, but make sure to measure yourself to find the best size just in case - Looks like photos, diameter of the hoops is accurate - Lightweight and breathable, cool enough for spring or fall (maybe not summer, depending on climate)Cons: - Hard to get to collapse for storage after use (folds up like a beach tent or car window panel) since not all hoops want to lay flat against each other instead of flaring up/down

Unfortunately, this was far too huge for me even to take a decent photo in my living room, but that is not a bad thing! I'm quite short (4'11") so it'd be difficult to wear this with a corset, or anything with a lower waistline, as a top layer. However, it will not go to waste! This will be perfect for something!I only took off a star because the closure isn't very secure. I think I can fix that with a quick DIY. For the price, I still wouldn't pass up this find!

I'm amazed that the waist really does open as big as the description says and it isn't uncomfortably tight once you close the skirt. This is such a great asset to any gown. It's super light, such that you'll want to take a little while to get used to how big it is because it really doesn't feel like you're wearing anything that substantial. I crashed into a little table by a couch and nearly bowled it over, so take your time. It weighs less than some of my dresses themselves and won't be any trouble to wear all night.

This was a gift for a friend who does festivals and dresses in period pieces. She LOVED it and said it was going to be perfect for a myriad of gowns she has. She hung it up straight out of the box to air it out and give it some volume and it looks great.

This is perfect for under a wedding dress! Now I'll be honest - I have no idea how to re-collapse it like it was when it came LOL Also, I am much larger than what you're supposed to be to wear this. My waist measurement is 56 inches. I figured by getting this petticoat I may have to alter it to be able to wear it -- I won't have to though! I can't tie it but it does fit! So don't despair if your waist is larger than the listing. Also, I'm only 5'3" and it isn't too long for me either. PERFECT! It makes me look fabulous in my wedding dress. This hoop skirt is well made and works just as I had hoped. It has 6 rings of steel hoops, more than some others I have tried, which really helps to hold the shape and support the material of the dress you are wearing. The closure at the waist is both a velcro tab and a string tie giving you extra security that it will stay put and because it is adjustable, it will fit most sizes (I think it will go up to a size 18 based on what I used to wear). The rings are very flexible so you fold it back up to make storage easier. There aren't any instructions for the best way to do that so it takes a bit of trial and error.
