This is a awesome tool. I have been struggling to get the perfect 1/4 inch seam. This is awesome, put the needle in the 1/4 inch hole, drop the pressure foot and put my seam guide by the edge of the ruler. Perfectly lined up 1/4 inch seam, EVERY TIME.

I had better hopes for this, but it did not work very well for me. The 1/4 inch hole is off and so is not accurate for sewing and especially for quilting. I do not recommend this product. However, I do recommend the pressor foot for 1/4 inch. Janome makes a great one and also the same foot works well for stitching in the ditch.

Love this ruler. Placed needle in the 1/4 inch hole and placed painters tape along the machine right beside the ruler. Keep fabric aligned with tape and get perfect seams.

Works well to calibrate. The ruler itself is correct, You may have to adjust your needle horizontally if it seems off. Really handy to mark seam allowances outside the path of the pressure foot but, you would not be able to tape inside the pressure foot for small allowance, but, still a good tool. I don’t quilt, so I can’t speak to using it for quilting.

I found it useful. Used the needle position thing right away as it's difficult to assess on my machine otherwise. Read the stitch and flip info and it was helpful to me as I'm not creative and need all the help I can get as a "new to patchwork" sewer.

Exactly what it is, and very useful to save all these triangle bits. This at least enables you to make them a decent size by reducing the seam allowance. If you dislike throwing away any fabric bits, this tool will help with saving half square triangles.
