Vaughan CF1 650g Straight Handle Milled Face California Framing Hammer

WOW...WOW...WOW.....Love this !A real decently made hammer. Good length handle and I much prefer traditional wooden handles, so this feels really great to me. Nice weight and good for a decent swing for "framing" and construction work. The milled face is an expensive "extra" on some hammers, but here it is and its great for wacking big nails with confidence and avoiding slip.Errr.....no, not for cabinet making and delicate things....this hammer is for a purpose and its GREAT!

I bought this , a smooth face and a knurled face I just love it the knurled face is a lovely thing to use no slip on head at all . I only bought them both to see which is best ? they are a superb . addition to any joiner's tool box 100% good buy

My carpenter son asked for this specific hammer for a Christmas. He is exceptionally pleased. He said many others at work complimented it, as the brand is quality. My son recommends this for a quality middle of the road framing hammer.

I do concrete foundations, basement walls. I carry this 23 ounce hammer along with a 22 ounce dewalt all steel hammer in my nail bag. Now with foundations theres alot more to a hammer than just driving nails... stripping forms and material can be really risky using a long wooden handled hammer due to over striking and banging material in different ways (hitting stuff that isn't just nails into wood). How ever I use it on the daily because it helps driving in pegs while laying the weeping tile around the basement. So there for although the handle can break easily in my trade...due it its ability to drive nails, comfortable handle grip, and the way it drives those stakes in the ground it will always have a place in my tool belt. If your a concrete form worker and want this hammer, just use it for strictly building, and use your steel hammer to strip the forms,and pull your nails or else you'll be sorry. Although for 35 bucks I would replace it any day for that price!

Beautiful framing hammer. I've used a Dewalt 12oz Mig hammer for a while, and this one swings with less effort somehow. Do yourself a favour and buy this hammer, then watch Larry Haun videos on how to frame. Just don't over strike like I did and break the handle after a couple weeks- but that's all my fault. I was used to the shorter length of the Dewalt hammer...

Super awesome hammer cannot recommend these enough. My buddy brought one over one day when we were framing a house, I ordered one that night and have never looked back. This is my second order.For the weekend warriors, YES THIS HAMMER IS WORTH IT. If you're a professional framer you probable already know this. But the DIY crowds should also know that this hammer is a great buy.Also this hammer has a magnetic nail holder that allows you to set a nail with one hand. Really cool.

I love it I use it all day every day at work building panelized roof structures. Highly Recommend I love using Vaughan hammer's this is my fourth one.
