Backlit and "find my remote" feature
If you purchased a Sony TV with the black remote you need this. If you lose this in the sofa cushions you can ask your Google Smart TV to "find my remote" it will beep for 2 minutes. The backlit feature makes it so you can watch TV in the dark with memorizing every button. This makes my $4,000.00 TV investment way more tolerable.

Does what it's supposed to.
It's a decent backup remote for my Sony X93l TV. Love the fact that it's backlit, that's the main reason why I bought it. Can't use it like the original remote, as far as the "Assistant" button and some buttons stick. But I like it and use it when it's dark. Use the original when you have light.

Won't update
Everything's works as promised. As long as you connect it via Bluetooth. My TV is brand new and it sent an update for the remote which this one will not take. The update is for stability. I've tried everything. The original remote takes the update but you can only have one remote connected to the TV at a time. I've looked everywhere on how to fix this and can't find anything. I guess I'll have to live with it or go back to the original remote which does take the update. Very disappointed

The voice button doesn’t work.
This is over priced because the voice button doesn’t work. Backlighting is great but not at the cost of functionality. Only a true Sony remote works properly.

Surprisingly decent for a generic remote replacement
Just like with the stock remote control, you are definitely going to want to connect this to your Sony TV via Bluetooth rather than use infrared. Both do work, but the line of sight with infrared is very precise--just like the stock remote. With that said, it worked with my Sony X95K TV right out of the packaging, and synced up via Bluetooth immediately. It's honestly ridiculous that Sony didn't bundle a backlit remote with such a high-end TV, but this solves that problem immediately.In terms of criticisms, I do wish this had the YouTube quick-launch button like the default remote, replaced here with the Bravia Core quick-launch button, but it's worth the trade off for the backlighting, which functions very similarly to the backlighting of the Nvidia Shield's remote. Namely, it lights up when it detects motion, or when you press a button, for a short time. All of the buttons are easy to see in the dark now. Very helpful!

Works with my A90J; has backlit buttons & voice control
I am searching to find the exact replacement remote for my A90J that I've managed to lose. The original in my photo is the original remote for my X80J and not as nice the one I've lost. This remote is similar but must be the newer style remote as it's much smaller than my original and doesn't have all the buttons I'm used to. It does seem to be of a better quality than some I've tried. I really wanted the backlit buttons which my lost original has. This does have lighted buttons but they're not as bright as I expected and I doubt there's any way to adjust that. Voice recognition button works well. It can be used all around the room, it has a long range. Mostly all positives and so far it's the best and closest I've found to what I'm looking for.
