I bought these for the bearings. An individual bearing is three times the cost of this complete set and more. I have a couple hundred hard miles on the bearings and they're fine

This is a great replacement and upgrade for the cheap Walmart Schwinn MTBs. The hardest part of the task could be the removal of the crown race from the bike's fork. Besides, you have to make sure what sizes of your bike needs. Best luck with the upgrading.

The headset is nicely finished and the sealed bearinga are smooth. This is a bargain; I'm not sure why someone would pay more.

The bearings feel smooth, the cups are within tolerance, and the finish quality on the exposed surfaces is quite good. +1The part appears to be sufficiently durable, though time will tell. Any issues with reliability will result in a review update. +1Bucklos include extra parts needed only if you’re replacing your fork star nut, and they provide two. The “expander plug” is heavier but makes for an easy installation, requiring only an allen wrench. The second is a lighter weight, traditional star nut that requires a driving tool to install. +1This is a 5/5 product if they remove the branding and weird graphics. The sizing and part number on the parts is ok, but it’d be better if it was smaller and less prominent. -1There are no sharp edges, no offensive odors, but there is great on the bearings; for the latter, this is expected and in appropriate volumes. +1

It fit perfectly and was very easy to install. It is not a well known brand but I expect it to last thousands of miles. The bearings were smooth and had no detente while moving the handlebars. It was also quiet and didn’t squeak during use. It felt well lubricated from the factory. Very good value comparatively. Recommended!

It's not sealed bearing like Chris King's, but still better than my current Cane's cartridge headset. Bearings are smooth, and I like the bonus removable headset expander.

This headset feels great. I got it to replace the non sealed headset on my cyclocross bikeThe bearings feel great. But who cares for something that is only $20I'll see how it holds up to the test of time, water, and maybe even a little bit of snow and update this review later down the road!No complains from me. I got this headset to install on an older Rocky Mountain Element frame I found while on vacation. Although I have not installed it yet it seems to be made of high quality aluminum and is very light weight. Once I have the bike built and get to use it I’ll update, but so far it seems like the Bucklos headset is a good one.
