Sony DSXA410BT Mechless Media Receiver with NFC/Bluetooth/iPod/Android Direct Connectivity, Red

Bought it for Mondeo mk3, they supply a wiring loom, but I still needed to buy an areal iso adapter for radio, costing 2 pounds, and a Ford ISO Harness Adaptor - CT20FD05 from halfords for 6 quid. Other than that you would need a fascia adaptor. Installation wasn't difficult. Sound quality is brilliant, better than the company fitted Sony 6000 cd changer. Mic volume is a bit low, the other side seems to get a low volume input. Will try to figure that out. But overall, it is a good piece of kit that doesnt break your bank account, especially if you are buying a refurbished unit like me.

Great stereo. Connects up to two phones via bluetooth for calls. Nice extra bass button right in the middle. The best thing about this device is the voice control function. I thought this would be pretty clunky and I'd end up not using it, but basically what it does is... You know when you say "OK google" (or "hey Siri") to activate voice automation on your phone? Well in my experience, this doesn't work half the time when the phone is locked and I'm driving. But there's a button on this stereo that activates the same function for you without the voice command. You can then use the stereo's built in mic to talk to Google or Siri. So press the button on the stereo, Google pings up asking how it can help, you tell it to: "direct me to London" "Play The Beatles in Spotify" "Read my last text" "Remind me to close the sun roof at 5.30pm" etc. And of course the sound quality is good too, being a Sony

Unit is as good as you would except and works perfectly in my 2002 VW Polo. The extras you need for compatibility are (1) Leads PC2-69-4 from Amazon (2) Aerial adaptor PC5-27 from Amazon but similar available everywhere. (3) Removal tool PC5-133 from Halfords if you need to remove old VW radio cassette player. A definite worthwhile upgrade for the old radio cassette player giving you Bluetooth for calls and music with the addition of a USB port.

I wanted to add a review to this product mainly to help anyone else who might be in my position. This is the first after market radio I've ever fitted and finding accurate information online was tricky. I fitted this to a Peugeot 206 (2005 model) and despite what many sources tell you, the only extra you should need (aside from the things to remove your factory fitted radio) is an ISO to DIN aerial adaptor. Installation was easy when following the instructions, however I didn't quite follow them properly - plugs fitted and the unit worked so I assumed I'd done the job. Then I realised it kept resetting whenever it was turned off (and also I didn't turn off after switching the car off), so I searched for the power wiring both for the radio and my car. It turns out that the two power supplies (constant battery supply and the switching control) were wired the opposite way round (pins 4 and 7). Thankfully this is an easy fix because the cables supplied allow you to switch these round (the red and yellow cables that you can disconnect in the middle). Once swapped it does what it's supposed to... so always read the wiring instructions I guess haha. Other than a hiccup at installation, the sound quality is great and pairing with my S10 is a piece of cake. I've not really explored many of the features because it's 2019 and who is using USB, radio or aux? (jk) But the bottom line is, for the money, this is a great quality bit of kit with good features and easy enough installation if you actually properly read the instructions.

The power chips in my old MEX-BT2500 was dead. I spent months to find the replace one. After hours of reconnection and welding, the quality of DSX-A410BT is quite amazing. Though it's an entry-level receiver and cannot display Chinese characters, the features is good enough to meet my needs. Thanks to the built-in microphone, I could enjoy the Siri Eyes Free on my old BMW E36.

Still going after all these years, great item

The unit is not as deep as most car stereos, being a mechless design, so installation was easier than usual. Sound quality is great and both Bluetooth and USB connections work fine. I'm told the built in mic is very clear too. Whilst this is a good value little stereo, there are a few key areas of functionality that are lacking and I will probably send mine back. Firstly the USB port only appears to be able to read up to 256 folders. I have a 128gb memory stick with a lot of music on and this only reads up to half way through B. Better than a previous stereo which only read 128, but my most recent before this (Sony WX900-BT) read them all without issue. Secondly, the Bluetooth connection does not pass metadata from music playback, so no display showing what track you are listening to on Bluetooth. Thirdly, the hands free calling functions and caller ID do not work with my phone (Moto G5S Plus). This may not be the case of you have a different phone, like maybe a Sony. Again, these functions did (mostly) work on my WX900-BT.

Very easy to install and set up. Bluetooth, which I bought the head unit for, connects immediately to my iPhone X and sound is clear through the speakers and microphone picks up my voice without issue. Radio channel presets are easy to set up and useful. Has USB connectivity which can connect a smartphone or small storage device. Sound quality is good for a small form factor unit. The only thing I don’t like is that the button to turn the head unit off is so close to the one which selects the device to use that it’s easy to get this wrong.

Parto come premessa indicando quelli che sono i punti più discussi di questa autoradio : -bisogna effettivamente scambiare un pin (12) dato che andrebbe a connettersi dove si trova il can bus (ho lasciato lo schema che ho creato dei collegamenti tra autoradio e connettore ISO). -il Bluetooth funziona egregiamente . Una volta tolta la modalità demo e accoppiato il dispositivo Bluetooth principale la connessione è rapidissima : consiglio di attivare il Bluetooth del telefono prima di accendere l’autoradio , così da essere sicuri al 100% della connessione tra telefono e autoradio ad ogni accensione. -la connessione tra autoradio e telefono avviene in pochi secondi e riproduce la musica in automatico una volta connessi (una volta accesa la radio basta aspettare il tempo di mettersi la cintura e mettere la prima/retromarcia per poter incominciare a sentire la propria musica). -le chiamate sono gestite in maniera a dir poco perfetta : quando ricevo una chiamata basta premere una volta il tasto del volume per poter rispondere e una volta per chiudere (quando chiudo il volume si rialza gradualmente al valore che avevo impostato per la musica). Le persone mi sentono senza ritardi o eco. -la funzione Siri eyes free funziona perfettamente anche con il mio iPhone 13 con l’ultima versione di iOS appena rilasciata (agosto 2024) -l’autoradio risulta molto più potente dell’auto radio di serie ( 4 x 20w contro 4 x 55w della nuova ) e ora finalmente posso sfruttare al massimo i miei altoparlanti di serie anche grazie all’equalizzatore che mi permette di non far distorcere gli altoparlanti . -comodo il tasto extra bass : per non far distorcere gli altoparlanti ad alto volume ho abbassato i bassi nell’equalizzatore , quindi per sentirli comunque quando abbasso il volume mi basta premere il tasto extra bass e tutto risulta bilanciato correttamente . -il contenuto della scatola è il seguente : autoradio , telaietto in metallo , manuale di utilizzo / assemblaggio e connettore Sony 16 pin (il connettore termina con un attacco per un adattatore da comprare a parte per i connettori ISO) Concludo dicendo che è veramente facile da assemblare e collegare da soli (ho 19 anni e ci sono riuscito senza problemi , basta informarsi e ragionare !)

Muy buena radio 1DIN para actualizar el equipo de tu vehículo. Cuenta con posibilidad de conectar simultáneamente dos dispositivos bluetooth, uno para audio y el otro para llamadas o audio. La calidad es sonido es buena y al llevar el micro incorporado en la propia radio, facilita mucho su instalación. La calidad de sonido al mantener una llamada telefónica con el manos libres es bastante buena, sabiendo que el micro está incorporado en la radio (me sorprendió lo bien que funciona la primera vez). Esta radio ya la he instalado en varios vehículos (mitsubishi montero, dacia duster, seat leon) y es muy fácil de instalar, siempre que usemos el adaptador correcto según el fabricante del vehículo. La interfaz es muy sencilla de utilizar y configurar. El diseño también es muy bonito y la calidad de los materiales es buena. En general es un producto más que recomendable si quieres actualizar tu coche para tener manos libres y poder reproducir música desde tu móvil, a un precio muy bueno.

Facile à installer, livré avec cadre métal, cache plastique et raccord ISO. Les fils rouge et jaune (12V permanent et + contact) sont sur des raccords intervertibles sans couper ni souder. Il est peu profond ce qui rend son installation aisée. Le son est excellent, envoi de la patate dans mes 4 kits éclatés blaupunkt, pas besoin de caisson de basse. Les menus sont faciles à comprendre. La version de mon poste est la M13/S35 alors que la dernière mise à jour disponible sur le site de Sony est la M12/S34. En gros le poste que j'ai reçu a une version plus récente que la plus récente dispo chez Sony. Le Bluetooth fonctionne bien, je m'en sers pour téléphoner et pour la musique via Amazon Music/Google Drive. À l'allumage, il se connecte en environ 20 secondes et lance automatiquement le dernier titre écouté. Il y a un micro interne qui marche bien, je n'ai donc pas branché de micro externe (non fourni mais dont je disposais). Le son du téléphone est bien meilleur que sur mon précédent JVC qui avait tout de même 14 ans (et qui, oui, avait le bluetooth). Les boutons sont bien placés, l'écran est lisible, on peut modifier la luminosité dans les réglages mais pas la couleur : boutons en rouge et lettres blanches sur l'écran (style Dot Matrix). Je n'ai testé ni la prise USB, ni la prise AUX jack. J'ai lu certains se plaindre que le bouton de volume soit trop sensible à la pression (et donc entraient dans les menus au lieu de changer le volume). Pour ma part, je n'en suis pas gêné, mais je reconnais que le sachant, je fais peut-être naturellement attention. Le bouton EXTRABASS est pratiquement placé, et permet de donner de la pèche à faible volume (3 positions : ARRET, x1 et x2). Il ne se comporte pas comme un "Loudness" classique : il ne s'atténue pas à fort volume. Donc si vous mettez à fond le volume et l'extrabass à 2, ça va saturer. J'ai testé l'application SONY Music Connect, ça fonctionne. Mais à part jouer avec l'égaliseur, je n'en ai pas vu l'intérêt, d'autant qu'elle se lance en tâche de fond dès qu'on arrive dans la voiture. Vu qu'on peut tout faire directement sur le poste, je l'ai désinstallée. Allez, peut-être utile à la limite pour avoir accès aux fichiers musicaux du téléphone si vous n'avez pas d'application de lecture de musique (mais bon, c'est quand même une fonction de base dans tous les smartphones de nos jours). Les points très positifs pour moi : l'efficacité du bluetooth, qualité sonore des appels téléphoniques, belle puissance de sortie sur les 4 enceintes. Voilà, je pense que j'ai fait le tour des informations utiles :)

Finns inga minus om denna stereo. Höll på med beg. bilstereo men ingen dög, så jag beställde denna direkt jag såg den och blev supernöjd. Den har allt och lite till, lätthanterlig med ett riktigt bra ljud 4x55w Hade den hemma på en vecka vilket är snabbt här i norr

Für gerade einmal einen halben Hunderter bekommt man hier echt richtig viel für sein Geld! Der Einbau gestaltet sich sehr einfach. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir dabei, dass die Dauerplus und Zündplus Kabel mit einem angebrachten Stecker vertauschbar sind, da diese Anschlussbelegung bei manchen Herstellern vertauscht angebracht sind. Dank der geringen Bautiefe des Radios (da auf ein CD-Laufwerk verzichtet wird) dürfte das Radio in wirklich jedes Auto mit einfachem DIN Anschluss passen und dahinter immer noch mehr als genügend Platz für die Verkabelung lassen. Entgegen manch anderen Rezessionen funktioniert mein Bluetooth einwandfrei. Das Paaring ist nach wenigen Sekunden abgeschlossen und wird automatisch (wenn im Menü richtig eingestellt) durchgeführt. Klangtechnisch ist sowohl das Radio als auch die Wiedergabe über Bluetooth eine echte Wohltat gegenüber meinem alten No-Name Radio. Es gibt viele Einstellmöglichkeiten, das Menü ist Recht gut strukturiert. Was mir persönlich nicht so gefällt ist die Ergonomie. Die Tasten zum Weiter- und Zurückschalten der Songs/Sender sind ganz rechts angebracht, hier muss man sich je nach Auto ganz schön strecken. Auch sind die Tasten schwer zu erfühlen, das heißt man muss zumindest am Anfang noch immer hinschauen. Es ist umständlich wieder aus dem Menü zu gelangen, funktioniert nach einigem probieren jedoch ganz okay. Von der Freisprecheinrichtung sollte man nicht zu viel erwarten. Ich habe einen Recht lauten Transporter, die Gesprächspartner verstehen mich nur einigermaßen wenn ich direkt in die Blende des Radios brülle. Eventuell kann man hier auch ein nachträgliches Mikro in der A-Säule nachrüsten oder einfach nur im Stand telefonieren, wobei es auch hier nicht schadet eher in Richtung Radioblende zu sprechen. Der Zugriff auf das Telefonbuch funktioniert hingegen sehr gut. Sprachbefehle habe ich nicht getestet. Alles in allem, trotz weniger Kritikpunkte, ein sehr gutes Bluetooth Radio. In Anbetracht des Preises volle Sternanzahl uns absolut zu empfehlen!
