Stainless Steel Soup Pot with Glass Lid - 4QT Cooking Pot for All Stovetops - Stock Pot for Pasta 22cm

The pot is a perfect size for casseroles and soups if wanting to make extras to freeze. The base is quite thick and so far, no sticking or burning contents on the bottom and the lid is weighty enough to avoid that annoying rattle that escaping steam can cause. Excellent quality so certainly value for money by my standards.

After short use it is unsuitable for use! The pot has a convex bottom, which makes it shake and rock from side to side on an electric stove. Not for use on a glass electric stove!I'm sending it for return!

This was really good, it was a solid material, very nicely weighted. Seems to disperse the heat evenly, and heats up to boil quickly. The glass lid stays clean after a quick wash, no streaky marks left.

The media could not be loaded. I was pleased when I received it as it was very smart and sparkled - and is high quality and of stylish design - but it has some faults1] There is no pouring spout, though not essential would be preferable, especially for drainage..2] The handle is too narrow and polished, so is hard to grip for canting it to pour out the contents of this deep pot.3] Also - the knob handle on the lid has a polished metal collar which affords no insulation so you may get slightly burned removing it.I use this pot for making jam, so very hot and very sticky process. The pot is great, no issues with jam catching on the bottom of the pot and easy to clean afterwards.Given that it has a quality base of solid steel - most important, and has a good steaming function, but unfortunately has these slight design flaws, I can only award 4 points.

Just not what I thought much too large

This arrived well packaged and in perfect condition.The pots dimensions and appearance are as described. It has rivetted handles and a screw on lid knob. The pot is fairly light but feels very sturdy.The bottom is very smooth so it shouldn't scratch induction glass hobs but I use silicone mats so I didn't test this out.The lid gives a good seel and the knob doesn't seem to ever get hot enough not to use with bare hands. The handles are sturdy and also near seem to get too hot to use bare handed.I've only used on an induction hob but it transferred heat into the pan quickly and evenly and has cooked the foods I've tried so far perfectly.Looks wise I think it's very nice. I'm leaving out on my hob as my everyday goto pot for pasta and vegetables and it doesn't look out of place in my modern kitchen.At around £30 at the time of review I really like this pot.

this pot was delivered quickly and in good quality packaging. It is really high quality and super nice, the finish on it is just amazing. It is a good size and I think it is good value for money for the size and quality of it.It is easy to clean as well which is good.It is nice to cook with and you can pretty much use it for anything. I really like the lid of it, and overall an amazing pot so I highly recommend it.

This is a lovely shape - kind of traditional, like a shiny crockpot and will look good from stove to table. Really decent size too, great for big family cooking or batch cooking for soups, stews, pasta etc. The glass lid is essential of course, so you can see without losing heat, and the handles are riveted (hooray) instead of silly screws which work loose. The beauty of this is in the depth of the base, which is thickened with aluminium to allow very even heat distribution and retention. Decent value for a good, large stock pot.I’d give this 5 stars but I struggle with the handles. Probably just me, but when this is pretty full, a) there’s no pouring spout and b) with both hands needed to pick it up, I burn my knuckles on the pan sides, trying to get a good grip. The handles are just that bit too small to pick it up with oven hands. So, that’s my reason for deducting half a star - might not matter to most people but it does to me!
