So there are a lot of reviews for this product out there and most of them are extremely positive. I would agree with these reviews in that it does a great job conditioning my beard. I am not convinced however that it is worth a premium price. I have used other beer conditioners that are 25% less in cost that do a great job. I think this would be my conditioner of choice if the price point were lower. And if I’m being honest, I’m not a huge fan of the container. I prefer a squeeze bottle or a pump. Lower the price five dollars and I will put up with the tub container and this would probably be my conditioner of choice.UPDATE: wow! I never realized what a good quality conditioner could do for my beard but now I do. This stuff is fantastic! I’ve used several different conditioners and none have given me the great results I get from Scotch Porter. I have even learned to live with the tub. :-) On days that I do not use it I still crack it open and take a nice long smell, it is certainly intoxicating.NOTE FAKE! I contacted Scott order and they were able to verify this is not fake product.

I use oils on my beard during the day, but am glad to have something to use in the shower as well. My beard is definitely softer and have been told that by many! (Haha) I want to try more of their products! Bring me some more!"***Things I have observed.The conditioner is thicker than typical hair conditioner, which I expected and appreciated. I hate when companies label as beard conditioner, mark up the price and it is basically .99 cent hair conditioner.I love the branding and can tell by looking at it that it is a men's product.I am loving that there aren't any silicones, parabens, etc.I love a product with all natural (or almost all natural) and am a label reader and researcher. Most of the products listed are great.I received this beard conditioner to test with the option to review. No financial compensation is ever accepted. I reserve 4 and 5 star ratings for products I would either recommend to others or buy for myself. This is a great product that I would highly recommend.

I have a large, hard to control, wild beard. This beard conditioner softened, smoothed, detangled and gave me the control over my beard that other beard conditioners do not come close to doing. It has been so good for my skin I haven't used any beard oil in over a year.This was by far the best beard conditioner that WAS on the market. I say was because Scotch Porter discontinued this formula and replaced it with a different beard conditioner in a squeeze tube.I have gone through many beard conditioners before this and none come close to how game changing this was.I am saddened that I only have a few jars of this formula left. I hope Scotch Porter decides to re-release this formula down the line. I would pay double for it!

I'm not an expert when it comes to beards but I'm enjoying this brand after reading other reviews. I do wish the softness of my beard would last longer throughout the day after using this conditioner but perhaps over time, it will. I like the thickness of the conditioner, the scent and it's easy to use. However, I wish Amazon would sell them in the tubes (which I see on the Scotch Porter website) because those are so much easier to store AND in case you drop it, you won't lose a ton of conditioner as it spills out. That's my only negative with this particular packaging.

I am new to the beard game :).Someone told me I need beard moisturizer. I was thinking, yeah, this guy is sticking with lotion and will be fine. Then I noticed how brittle my beard became over time, along with how difficult it became to comb through.Fast forward a few months (took me a while, I know) I head about Scotch Porter. I am cheap and skeptical. Perhaps one breads the other. Anyway, I wasn't a fan of the price until someone let me try just two squirts of the Smoothing Beard Serum and that's all she wrote. I am hook.It is crazy how many people comment on, the fact I have a beard (after already seeing my beard previously) or I'll comments about how shiny it looks, I think they mean moist.Plain and simply, I love this product along with the Beard Wash and Beard Conditioner. The products together give me a soft feeling beard that is easy to comb....nice that others notice the difference too.

I have, what my wife calls, a beard like a billy goat. In other words, it's quite rough and bristly (on a good day). I've only been using the Scotch Porter beard conditioner for about a week, but the change in my beard is so significant that I couldn't wait to share my opinion of it. My beard is now soft and manageable after only a few uses and it has a very pleasant scent to it. The difference is so noticeable that even my wife says it "looks really good" and has even run her hands through it. I will continue to use the Scotch Porter beard conditioner because it is the first product I've ever used that could tame my beast of a beard.

Doesn’t work. At. All. Got it to try to get my 2 yr old to stop sucking his thumb. I applied it during the day, and night, and he immediately just sticks his thumb in his mouth and isn’t even fazed. I tried it on my finger too just to see—the taste is so minutely bitter and barely lasts 1 lick. I can see why he doesn’t care that it’s been applied to his thumb

Been using for years and it works.
