I want this stand for my Samsung 43" nu7100 which has a height of 22.2". Is the 1/4" off the minimum height of 22.5" going to make a difference?

The easel appears to make the screen tilt slightly up to the ceiling; is there a way to tilt it slightly down?

The top gripper is 3", bottom deck is 5". Our television is 1.5" on top and 3.5" on bottom. How can we stabilize on the easel?
