Pleasantly surprised
Let’s be honest, big and tall guys know the struggle all too well. You’re browsing around, and you finally spot something at a great price, but immediately that doubt creeps in—"It’s too good to be true." You buy it, cross your fingers, and hope it fits. Maybe even pray a little, because you’re tired of wasting money on things that end up being just another dead end.Well, let me save you the suspense—these pants are *not* one of those disappointments! When I first tried them on, I was seriously impressed. The fit was spot on, not too tight, not too loose, just right. The comfort level is incredible, and they look great too. Whether you need them for work or casual outings, these pants deliver in style and practicality. Plus, the material feels durable, so you know they’re going to last and not fall apart after just a few washes. What I loved most is that they feel like they were actually made with guys like us in mind. That’s not always easy to find, especially without breaking the bank. It’s rare to get something this good at such a reasonable price. So if you're like me, always hesitant and cautious about whether that "good deal" is too good to be true, let me reassure you—these pants are absolutely worth every cent.I’ll definitely be ordering more, and I suggest you do the same. No more dead-end purchases here. Finally, something that lives up to the hype!

Perfect Pants for Fall Weather Golfing
I purchased these to wear when golfing in the cool fall weather in Michigan. They are not your typical pair of golf pants to be sure, but work real well for me. I wanted something that was a little heavier, comfortable fitting and would look good along with a nice golf shirt. I normally wear cargo shorts in the summer months due to the extra pockets which help secure my valuable while golfing and carry some spare tees, golf balls and other stuff, plus my cell phone which I use on the course to track my score and such. So I decided to try some cargo pants. These are perfect. They are loose fitting but not overly baggy, which I like. The fabric is a nice heavier weight so should block the wind and provide some protection on colder days. And they have the pockets I wanted. I normally wear a 36 x 34 size and these are a bit loose in the waist but nothing a belt can't handle. Just something to be aware of. The length is perfect. Probably a tad longer than 34 but I prefer that as well. The belt that comes with the pants is pretty useless and not near the quality of the pants themselves so not sure why it was included. It's ugly and not very functional. The pants are very well made and should last a long time and they look pretty good too. Since they come in some other cool colors I will likely pick up another pair or two for just bumping around. A nice change to wearing my normal jeans. I already washed and ran them through the dryer and they came out fine. Time will tell if they are durable, but based on the fabric and stitching I suspect they will last a long time. I can recommend these without hesitation - for casual wear or for golfing.

Great pants but……
I have several pairs of these pants that I really like so I decided to buy another pair in a different color. However, once I received the new pair, I noticed that every one of the belt loops was not sewn on correctly. (see attached picture comparing my older pair to the new pair). The bottom of each loop is sewn on to the pants with the cut, frayed end exposed. Normally, the bottom of the loop would be hemmed (turned under and then sewn to the pants so that the cut end is not exposed). Now I’m thinking I got some rejects. So, I went back to look at the pictures in the description, and, sure enough, they do show the loops sewn on without being hemmed. Unionbay must have changed the design to give the pants a worn, raggedy look, I guess. The belt loops will probably break away from the pants as the frayed edges continue to wear. The belt itself is hemmed unlike the ones shown in the pictures showing frayed edges. As far as sizing, the pants are a bit large in the waist. I normally wear a 33/32, but the 32/32 is large enough that I need a belt to hold it up, especially with anything in the pockets. Normally, I never need to wear belts with my pants. The length is accurate. Unlike other reviewers, I have not had any problems with tearing of seams after wearing a pair for about a year.Overall, I would still recommend these. The side pockets are deep, the flaps on all other pockets have strong Velcro, the material is a good weight, and you get a free belt. I love cargo pants and these are the best I could find for the price.
