People at Work: watercolours - Joseph Zbukvic

Its everything I expected, he was informative and helpful where he could be. Joseph Zbukvic in an earlier DVD admits that he does not think in terms of colour or what he mixes, just in terms of warm and cold colours. I like the way he moves water and pigment about the paper which he says has taken him 30 odd years to come by, but sometimes he is awash with water and sometimes he uses a dry brush but it is a pleasure to watch him work.

Excellent DVD showing people at work. Joseph explains easy step by step instructions to painting people at work and showing movement. He is a master watercolour painter and it shows as he paints people working at different locations around Melbourne. This DVD is a must if you want to add people to your paintings.

A really excellent account of impressionistic watercolour covering a number of quite different subjects. Joseph Zbukvic has a pleasant, relaxed style of teaching. The DVD contains much good advice and guidance for the intermediate water colourist.

Thanks to previous reviewer, I bought a PAL/NTSC compatible dvd player for this video -- and more in the future. Another satisfying instructional video from JoZ! This "People at work" video has demos on how-to paint/incorporate figures in his paintings -- and Joseph made it look so simple! However, you and I know it's not, lol. Happy painting!

This DVD will not play on my DVD player in CANADA. I assumed it would play in the North American format (NTSC). Perhaps that is the problem.
