Kids always looking for new ways to create art. Fun technique to incorporate into other drawings ie pencil, pen & ink, charcoal, acrylic. New ideas are not cheap. Littlest of kids can do once muscles fine tuned with practice.WATERCOLOR by it's nature is light & soft. That doesn't mean it can't also be bold with heavier amount of paint. Or combine other techniques to express your creativity.I don't understand the negativity, it's more like zero understanding of watercolor combined with no ability to give a child a new tool that could expand their choices in expressing their talent.

Bought this to do with my elderly nana. She’s got some problems with her hands now and can’t paint easily anymore. She struggled a bit with this because the watercolors are quite pale (she would try to go over it a second time and miss the area a bit. Then the colors would muddy up.)It was also smaller than expected, but it had a lot of paint in there! Those watercolor blocks are like an inch tall and long!! I ended up liking the smaller size. It just looks bigger in the promotional image.The sponge brushes didn’t clean easily. We will probably go buy more from the craft store to continue using the kit. The brushes also only reached 5/6 colors at a time tops. This wasn’t a huge problem for what we were doing, but it might disappoint someone who doesn’t know.This kept us busy for around 1 hour, but it can be used again! The watercolor blocks got muddy, but they’re very easy to clean with a damp (paper) towel. And we got some pretty artwork out of it! I cut some up and made cards with them.I used Bristol board for this, but any thick paper would work.It wasn’t very messy at all, which is great cause nana was sitting up in bed to do this, and her comforter is white!! A smudge got on her hand, and we set the brushes on a napkin when they weren’t being used.Thank you for helping me create a beautiful memory with my nana 💜

This is fun, and we learned about over-mixing colors (you get muddy brown). But once we figured out the way it’s meant to be used, we got rainbows and sunsets.! A lot of discovery and a good time too.

My three grandsons spent the night as mom and dad had a dinner and reception late into the night.I knew the boys would get restless after dinner and a movie. Just as I predicted they began to get wild, an hour or so before there scheduled bedtime. I broke out the paint set- thank goodness it provided 45 minutes of fun and quiet time for my 8,6 and 4 year old grandsons. They each took their time painting their own versions of what rainbow art paintings should look like. I should have bought two sets

This is the first time I’m using anything like this kit and overall I’m pleased with this product and would recommend it.Comes with enough sponge brushes in different sizes. The colors were washed off super easily from my tile floor. I think it would be artistically better to combine these rainbow features into one’s regular drawing instead of painting a whole piece with it (not to have too much of a good thing).

Not as fun as I was hoping. If you aren't an artist it's really hard to make anything cool like the infomercials. Very appealing for kids but realistically it was kind of lame.

I like how easy this is to use but it doesn’t really work like it does in the video..maybe I need to use paper for water colors? It’s still really cool I just think $20 is a little to much for what it is. Colors aren’t that bright but still cool. The sponge brushes don’t seem like they will last long.

We had a really good experience. The product arrived as described, the packaging looks impressiveMy daughter loved it very much, it was a joy to see how impressed she was with her paintings.The product is easy to use. There were a lot of brushes in different sizes. It is very important to roll the brush several times on the colors in the beginning, it took time for the color to come out, so I helped her with it. Besides that it was a really good and fun experience.Would definitely recommend.

This was not worth $37. This is $5 at best. Absolute garbage
