Campingaz Icetime Plus Cool Box, Blue, 30 L

Happy with this purchase. Been a while since I owned a coolbox. Bought it for a 3 day/2 night camping trip and loaded it up with beer and wine (and about 4 freez-blocks). Beer was still nicely cold by the end of 2nd day. Its got a nice satisfying click as the lid closes, and the handle feels very sturdy. I likes the flat lid too, as surfaces are useful when camping. Its more square than other toolboxes, which allows it to fit nicely into a boot, without loosing space due to any curved edges. At this reasonable price, I am happy with this toolbox, and would recommend to anyone thinking about buying one.

Bought it to bring on our 4 hour trip . Kept everything nice and cold . We had milk , butter, ham and were all kept well chilled . But did use 6 ice blocks . But it was way better than my last cooler bag .

So a cool box has two main jobs. Keeping things cold, and being portable.The first this one does very well. I've never had a more expensive make so can't compare to the top end ones, but this certainly far exceeds the cheaper cool bags that we've had before. Very glad we didn't go for an electric one as there is no need. With a few decent size ice packs this kept a lot of food fridge cold over a 36 hour period when driving from Scotland to South of England. Perfect size for the boot (fits exactly under the parcel shelf of a Skoda Kodiaq 7 seater) and spacious enough without being crazy big. I also like that the handle stores neatly when not in use.The big downside is however the strength of the handle. It came out of its housing in the first trip, and can't see how it is held in place other than a tight fit and the rigidity of the handle itself (which is by no means completely rigid). It went back in OK and is fine to use when empty or with a few light items in the box, but I wasn't at all comfortable carrying this full of food and drink and needed to put my arms around it instead.Not a deal breaker for me as it is still a very useful purchase and a perfect size, but surely a better design of handle could be added for not much extra?

Staying in a holiday home in the middle of nowhere. Decided to buy this ice box to transport my perishable groceries like meat. After a 5 hour trip everything was still chilled. Campingaz have compatible freezer blocks which I purchased - M30 for the base and top, M20 for the side.Really happy with this product. I wanted something reasonably priced. My research online showed this was better than a Thermos ice box.Hope to get many uses out of this.

Put ice in this box. Kept solid for 2 days. Cannot fault it for value

We have bought that box only for taking frozen raw dog into holiday home. We were taking only 25 DAF frozen blocks but i'd say you could probably fit 30 blocks and 3 icepacks.We were travelling during quite hot day for around 5h.Meat was tottaly frozen when we were unpacking :)

Only four stars as it is a bit more pricy than others, but the insulation is very good. We put frozen items in it for travel to a rented property and along with other items from teh fridge and some cool bricks, everything was still cool or frozen some hours later when we arrived.
