I like this electric slicer very much. It's very easy to use and doesn't take much space to keep this stuff in the kitchen. It does great work with potatoes, carrots, cucumbers and other veggies and fruits. Easy to clean and wash. I will recommend this slicer to everyone who is looking for safe and fast stuff to make salads and etc.

This was a replacement slicer for a previous (less quality) product. This one performs much better! It is easy to use and clean-up is a snap. It seems much better quality and months later has continued to perform as new.

I bought this unit to replace my hand held salad shooter. I've broken 2 of the shred/slice cones in less than a month and can't hold it very well anymore. Since it would cost me almost as much to replace those pieces, I figured I would just buy a new unit.Anyway, I pulled this unit out of the box along with the feed tube and immediately said...nope. The feed tube is so small that I would spend more time cutting up the food item than I would actually using the machine. It went right back in the box and down to the UPS store to send back. Amazon did refund my money very quickly, which was the best part of this "purchase".

What I like is how compact it is and it's small enough that I can leave it on my kitchen counter so it's handy at all times,. I grate a lot of cheese so that's all I've used it for. My first thought when opening and feeling it the first time, is it doesn't feel like it is made well and probably won't last long. I hope I'm wrong. It doesn't seem to have a lot of strong power so I've wondered how it would do with hard carrots, but I haven't needed any yet to try it. While I like the look and size I do think it's over priced based on how cheap it seems to be made.

I used to use a oyster blender to chop my veggies when I feel lazy and don’t want to use the chopping board. I bought this small compacted machine for my small apartment and got rid of the blender & chopping board. I am fairly impressed with how well it shreds and chop vegetables, carrots came out evenly sliced. It was fairly easy to clean and the plastic parts handles pretty well in the dishwasher. The shredder/chopper is quite powerful for its size.
