High-quality and adjustable
I've been using this for about a week now, and I'm really impressed with them. I've not seen this kind before. I've had the typical resistance bands but not one with a resting/support metal plate. They're well-made, sturdy, and provide just the right amount of assistance to help me improve my pull-ups. One of the things I like is that they're adjustable. It took me a some time to get it adjusted for my needs but once you've set the right resistance & length, you're all set. This means that I can start with a lot of assistance and gradually reduce it as I get stronger. This will help with avoiding plateaus and make steady progress towards doing unassisted pull-ups. If you're looking for high-quality pull-up assistance bands that can mimic the movement of a gym pull-up machine, this is great option.

The good part is, you may eventually not need it!
I am using these every day for about six weeks. I could barely do one unassisted pull up when I started. Now I can do almost 10 pullups! This device helped me immensely to build strength gradually. I was using a resistance band before and it was almost dangerous trying to get in position. I am not going to suggest this for bodybuilder but for someone beginner or intermediate it can train you to do pullups!

Minimal range
I like the solid platform. Itโs a good idea. The major flaw in this product is that the bands are short and donโt stretch far enough to provide support over the full range of a pull up. This leaves you having to decide between setting it up for support at the top or bottom of the pull up. I fixed this by clipping 2 bands together to create longer bands. However, this fix limits the overall amount of weight reduction they provide. At least it works now, but Iโd prefer it if the company provided more bands with the product or a way to purchase them individually.

Heavy Duty
I ordered the SYNTECSO Pull Up Assistance Bands for my daughter, who needs a bit of assistance with pull-ups. This equipment is indeed "heavy duty" and works well with any pull-up / chin-up bar. The varying resistance bands provide as little or as much assistance as one needs. The assistance base provides some padding for knees, but a bit more padding could go along way.

A bit cumbersome
I like that this is an option for people who don't have access to a commercial gym with the machines needed to slowly progress to harder exercises. Both my son and wife have a hard time with pull-ups/chin-ups and this addition to our home gym has really given them the assistance needed to do multiple sets for their workouts. I weigh about 200 lbs and tried it out to see how it deals with heavier people and it seemed to work just fine using all 12 bands it comes with. My son weighs about 100 lbs and he has to use only 4 of the bands in order for it to work for him, so not much progression help for him after a while. That being said, it is not the easiest thing to use on your own. I have to be right their as they are using it to help them set up properly and if I wasn't there, I dont know that they'd be able to use this (safely). It is a good/helpful addition to a home gym, but be sure you can use it safely on your own if you don't have a workout partner.

good design idea but one band broke already
The steel plate to stand on is a good idea for my use. elastic tubes to the 4 corners of the plate also a good idea. That said, one tube broke already (photo).. because the tube itself snapped. In short it works but could be better and I'm going to tryout another sellers similar item. What could improve this: 1-better quality elastic tube 2- longer connection straps (I'm 6'2" and I would like to be able to drop it lower with the inelastic straps 3- since the tubes do break I would like to be able to buy replacement elastic tubes

Versatile Home Gym Essential
The SYNTECSO Pull Up Assistance Bands have been an excellent addition to our home gym. With 12 individually adjustable resistance bands, these bands provide up to 720 lbs of assistance, making them suitable for various fitness levels. The sturdy iron pedal, featuring a comfortable 5mm thick iron plate for feet rest, sets this product apart by eliminating painful friction during pull-ups. The height-adjustable pull-up straps cater to users of different heights, ensuring a customized and effective workout experience. While it's a fantastic addition for those without access to commercial gyms, using it solo may require some assistance initially to set up properly. Overall, it's a valuable tool for improving strength, mobility, and flexibility, accommodating both beginners and seasoned athletes in their fitness journey.

Bands are super tight
The bands are so tight even using two we are unable to use. The platform is nice that it is sturdy but not enough padding for the knees. This is not something we can use unfortunately at this time.
