I sized up because I wanted him to have clothes on underneath (it’s cold in Wisconsin for Halloween)It was huge, probably could have went with his normal size and still had more than enough room. But it was super cute and we got lots of compliments.

Runs super large
My almost 4 year old son normally wears 4T, some 5T. I ordered 4T and he can definitely wear it next year.My daughter wear 12 months and was dragging it so had to roll up both feet and arms.They run super large but super cute. Also the butt zipper was pretty useful as my son got too hot in it.
