Do these work well with carplay? i have a lot of disconnects with carplay, and lots of people blame the cable.

I suggest getting an authentic Apple lightning cable. I had problems and that's what Crutchfield's tech support told me to do and it immediately worked out well. It was worth the extra few bucks to stop the problems (i.e. no music!) with Apple carplay.
