I ordered these as they were cheap and I just wanted to see if they would last as other reviewers said that they didn’t last that long, which concerned me, so I figured if they didn’t then I wouldn’t lose much at 1.37 each.I have to say that I’ve had them a few weeks now and the one that I have replaced and put into my cooker is still going, so it seems that that particular one will last a good while.For the price they’re ok, they work, and I can now see the food I’m cooing again, so if anything changes and the bulb does go like it has with others then I will update this review .a.s.a.p. to let others know. So far so good.

I have found that Crompton 15W Pygmy Oven Lamps are quite long-lived, 5 to 10 years of normal use. However, many of the items listed under this heading on Amazon do not match the headline. It is apparent from many of the ratings and reviews that raise issues about the bulbs being the wrong size, or not withstanding oven temperature, that they are not Crompton Oven Lamps.My solution was to send a message to the seller asking for confirmation that they were actually offering the Crompton lamps, and Dependable Trading responded affirmatively. When they arrived they appeared exactly the same as the one I had bought some years ago, and also as shown on Crompton's own website.It is disappointing that Amazon continues to allow sellers to mis-represent their offerings.

This item seems to be a direct replacement for the original oven filament bulb. Right size and works fine.

Little to say really, after all, it's only a standard bulb!It gets 5 stars because it is as described and has worked for 5 days so far. The real question is how much longer will it work for? If I remember I'll post an update at an appropriate time.Delivery was quick and was well packed.Bulb brand is Opus and the packaging states a lifetime of 1 year at 2.7 hours per day (ie 1000 hours). I've never had one last this long! Bulb glass diameter is 21mm, so will fit ovens requiring the smaller bulb (slightly larger diameter bulbs exist, which will not fit all ovens). It is rated at 300°C max.

I needed a replacement lamp for the fridge, so I purchased this one as it seemed to match the blown one. Not as bright as I would have liked but it does the job.May have been me as the description is for an oven lamp but it does say clear!

Bulb supplied is not as pictured. I would recommend you measure the bulb you're replacing before purchasing. The bulb supplied measures 6 cm, it is long and narrow and not the stubby (5cm) one shown in the picture. Having said this the company are excellent and refunded my purchase immediately when I contacted them.

Wird im Ofen verwendet und funktioniert wie es sein sollte.Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich nach ein paar Wochen nichts sagen.
