Product works as expected! Connecting it is straight forward. After connecting, the unit actually runs well without delay. I have a 2020 telluride and when i connected with a usb for apple CarPlay, there is always delay with the cable and the touch screen. This has completely solved the delay problem that I had with apple CarPlay. I enjoy it more now in the car now that the phone is free from cable unless I’m charging it separately. Highly recommend it If your car doesn’t have wireless CarPlay.

Installation is a breeze with this device and it connects flawlessly every time. My old one would always disconnect randomly and this one has no issues whatsoever. Wireless car play is a must have for anyone with car play in there vehicle.

Connecting the device was easy, the device is small enough to hide. It has no lag that I can tell. Overall a good product to purchase to get wireless CarPlay inside your car.

It looks tiny than I think, pretty good! Save me from repeatedly plugging and unplugging!

No lag, great response

The two big guys in the aftermarket wireless CarPlay adapter market are CarlinKit and Ottocast, however for $49 the MMB adapter is quite a bargine. It’s small, doesn’t get hot and works…for the most part. I have two cars that support wired CarPlay, I really wanted the adapter for my Porsche 718. The 718 has two USB ports, one in the glove box and the other in the center console. I tried the glove box first, added the device as a Bluetooth device, but the phone never prompted me to use CarPlay. I then tried the center console and the same issue. So the MMB adapter did not work on the Porsche despite the product page explicitly showing a Porsche logo. Not giving up hope I once again removed the device from my Bluetooth devices, went to my Audi Q7 and did the setup again. The Audi has three USB ports, one in the glovebox and two in the center console. I used the center console and my phone immediately asked me if I wanted to use CarPlay with the MMB (called smartbox in Bluetooth devices). Once connected CarPlay was smooth with no noticeable lag. Overall the adapter does work, although it's unfortunate it didn’t work on the Porsche.

Installing this was easy. 1) Verify that your wired Android Auto (or Carplay) USB works correctly, 2) connect your phone to your car via Bluetooth, 3) plug this wireless dongle into your car's USB port, 4) select Android Auto on your car's screen (or if it doesn't show up on the screen, then open Bluetooth settings on your phone and allow your phone to connect to this wireless dongle). That's it. Everything works perfectly in my 2017 SUV using Android 10 on my Samsung Galaxy (I'm waiting to get a new phone until the S24 comes out in January). So far, I haven't had any issues with this disconnecting randomly while driving and it connects automatically the next time I get into my vehicle.I did walk into my house and the phone was still connected to my SUV. When I went back out to my SUV, this wireless dongle was still blinking, which initially concerned me that it wasn't turning off. But, I learned that the USB port in my vehicle turns off a few minutes after you exit the vehicle, which then turned off this dongle and disconnected my phone from the SUV. I have the MBM version that does Android Auto as well as CarPlay and love it! I got this one to put in my daughters car as she has an iPhone.Setup is very straight forward and so far the device has connected each time the car is turned on.I've tested other devices like this before and have sent every one of them back. Mostly due to lockups, slow response and disconnections. This one does none of that.It's an amazing piece of kit that will transform your driving experience, especially when paired with a wireless phone holder for the car.
