IwasakiFile 150mm Half-Round Medium Cut

I've got the crank-neck half-round in a coarser pattern, and the curved half-round in a finer pattern, and this one helps randomize and slice away any marks wonderfully.They're not used like files though, light pressure, slice material along the grain and you get delicate little curls shaved off rather than torn and shredded sawdust.

Still working out how best to use this. Was surprised that it is relatively small, at least compared to the massive Auriou french files. Fits in hand nicely, easy to maneuver on inside radius curves (such as tool handles).

The file cuts fast and I like the back curve to help you guide the cutter. It is best used by letting the file do the cutting rather than trying to use heavy pressure to cut; that only leaves more file marks than you want.
