Behind Closed Doors Paperback – February 11, 2016

I finished this book in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down? This is the story about Grace who thinks she’s met the man of her dreams in Jack. Especially since he takes her sister Millie who has Down syndrome as his own. Her fairytale becomes a nightmare once Jack shows his true intentions. While a prisoner in her own home, Grace has to play a sensitive and careful game for survival. This book so thrilling. It kept me guessing until the end. The story was told in past and present and this author wound them together nicely. A must read for thriller fans.

I liked how it went back and forth from past to present, really kept it interesting. Good thriller and was def twisted but I liked the ending

Very good read! I couldn't put it down once I started. Read it in 2 days. It melt me on the edge of my seat!

I only gave it a 3 star because of the ending. I wanted to know from Grace exactly how the last moments went down, how Jack got in the red room. Too many unanswered questions left at the end. But I enjoyed reading this right until it kind of left me hanging at the end.

I couldn’t stop reading this. It was well written, heartbreaking but compelling. Main character was such a sicko and the poor wife. I liked how the author bounced from past to present and it wasn’t confusing.

Had to get it on kindle so I could keep reading at work. Then my teen read the paperback in two days!

I thought this story was very good . It held my interest, and was full of emotional ups and downs. I would recommend it to anyone who was ever in a relationship that made them feel controlled by their partner. Good reading!

This book was very dark and tackled an incredibly difficult subject—it was hard to digest at times. I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time. From the beginning, I sensed something was off about Jack and Grace’s relationship, especially with how quickly he pushed for marriage. His eagerness felt unsettling, and as the story unfolded, it confirmed my suspicions in a chilling way.
