Dog Equivalent to Human Rice Cakes cries my dogs!
One of my cocker spaniels in later years has developed sensistive skin and was advsied by our vet to go hypoallergenic in the dog food department. As i have two cockers who are not fussy and could eat for England, i had to feed both this product to make the change effective for the dog with sensitive skin. However, this has been like forcing vegetables down you childrens throat. They look at me with utter contempt, after filling their food bowls with it, I can tell they are swearing at me with the looks on their faces. This dry food, nutrionally is spot on, and my dog's skin and fur is looking better than ever. But for two dogs who could eat for England to sniff at it and walk away has been hell. After the 2nd week of them barely eating it, I think out of pure hunger, I have had to make up batches of rice, turkey mince and veg, and mix it into the dry food, to get it down their throats. And they usually leave 50% of the biscuits despite being coated with yummy home made food. So, i think Royal Canin really need to look into the flavour department , for such an expensive dog food, it should taste more gourmet than budget mixer. If they could speak i'm thinking they would say it tastes like rice cakes, and i only tried them once!!!I have now purchased another hypoallergenic dry dog food, at 30% cheaper, and it was gone in 30 seconds.

Very good if your dog has a flare up
My dog suffers allergies and if he has a flare up and his skin is getting pink and starting little sores and his ears hot. Before a yeast infection sets in his ears and his coat gets sore, this is excellent to get him on and within two days his ears have settled down nice and cool and coat immediately better. Good stuff .

Effective Product
My dog developed dry flaky skin on his back and sides. I spoke top the vet and they suggested altering the food before we try shampoos, lotions etc. After 3-4 weeks there was a significant improvement. By 6 weeks, the conditions had cleared totally. It is a little pricey, but money well spent.

his skin is a lot better
our dog, a Chow Chow, won't eat any other brand of dog food. He has delicate skin, so having found this 'Dermacomfort' range, his skin is a lot better now
