My dog loves it, but the taste is not for me.
I am writing this review more for my dog then myself. I did originally purchase this for myself. I love goat milk and grew up on it being Polish. I usually buy meyers brand goat milk. It is just very expensive so I get it more as a treat. I got it in powder form because it was more cost effective and I hoped it would allow me to drink goat milk everyday. Unfortunately, this product wasn't for me. It gets perfect scores for how easy it is to blend in warm water (warm water, 2x scoops and whisk for 30 seconds), as well as, for how well/long it keeps. The taste is the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. I took one sip and thought "no thank you". I will continue looking for goat milk in bulk in liquid form. I really hope it becomes more popular in the US.Now for my dog (she is already on her fourth container of the full fat powdered goat milk). She is about 11, maybe 12 years old. Pit bull/Shar-pei/lab mix. About 43 pounds but stays between 40 to 45. Barrel chested, medium size. She has severe arthritis in her spine, and shoulder blades. Her back left leg used to continually shake from pain. It killed me. On top of that, she had some extreme surgery done on her bowels (her small intestine is now directly attached to her colon. So her stomach is very sensitive now. Her and I do most things together so she is a very active dog who is always by my side. Hiking, camping , swimming (her absolute favorite), etc. From her watching me play video games, to exploring the wilderness while I rock climb. She is truly my heart and best friend/soulmate.So I know goat milk is easy to digest, as well as, has a bunch of health benefits in general. I ran it by my vet first, and then started giving her a little bit of this stuff everyday (started at a quarter cup and moved it up to a cup a day). She absolutely loves it, however she is very very very into food, and not really a picky eater. She also has had no negative reactions to it. I think it may have even improved her breath a little and I know she doesn't bloat as much as she used to.This goat milk (1x cup a day) coupled with turmeric curcumin chews (1x a day), probiotic goat milk yogurt (1x to 2x tablespoon a day), grapeseed oil (1x tsp a day), and collagen pills, have greatly improved my dogs arthritic pain. She has definitely gotten less stiff and a pep in her step. Her leg does not even shake as much nor as often. I still have painkillers the vet prescribed for those really bad days (rainy days usually), but honestly I am really happy with how often she doesnt need them. I am 100% for medication if she needs it, I just want to take it easy on her liver and kidneys as much as possible. She already takes benadryl pretty regularly (the shar pei allergies run strong in her. To the point where her ear drums used to swell and bleed), so I just want to help balance her out as much as I can.Like I said, I am on my fourth container. I gave this to my moms dog (small dog mix) and she prefers it diluted. My friends dog (malinois mix, large) prefers it warm and not cold. My dog doesn't care, she will drink it all up haha so dogs have given it mixed reviews. I would suggest (run it by your vet first. I dont know your dog, nor their health issues) and start giving them a little bit, diluted everyday.

Great Alternative If You are Lactose Intolerant
This milk is a miracle for me. I am seriously lactose intolerant and have stomach sensitivity to other nut milks because they contain guar gum (or some other types of gum) and other additives.I literally stopped drinking milk because I simply couldn’t consume it. If I drink cow milk in less than 2 minutes- I feel the gas welling up in my stomach and I’m plagued with farts for the next 4 days ; plus irregular bowel movements. This Meyenberg Powdered goat milk has been a life saver to me. I do not experience any lactose intolerant reactions to it. It digests easily and I feel fine. It’s a miracle. Now I can drink milk with ease.It tastes abit like baby milk though but I don’t mind . It has more potassium & calcium than regular milk . With the bad rap cow milk is getting - you are safer consuming this . So what if it’s pricier than what you are used to - Health is wealth to me. I’d rather pay more for something healthier than pay a cheap price for something that is making me sick and can cause long term dis-ease in my body.I’m not an everyday consumer of milk so this lasted me 2 months. To use it make sure you mix it with warm water first so it can mix well. If you use room temperature or cold water it will not mix. Also I was happy to see that the ingredients on the back only contained Whole Goats milk. That was such a relief considering how many names are added to simple products such as these these days. If I’m buying milk - all I want is milk - no additives - no guar gum or any other chemical.

Great product. Better than cow milk or formula for us
Great product. through age 3 of my toddler we went through over 200 cans. Rarely there are issues with quality as mentioned in fall of 2020. Usually the milk is great, doesn't cause upset stomach or colic unlike cows milk. It has vitamins too. AlI in all great beverage for healthy growing. (We started at about 4 months as an add-on to bm).Fall 2020: I've been bying this powdered milk for my child for the past 2+ years. Anyone who has a child knows HOW much milk you go through. So, I've bought well over 100 of these cans by now and never had issues until recent couple of months. MOST (9/12) cans that were packaged on 5.27 stinks some less some extremely. I dont know what to do. I've receiver 3 orders so far and don't want to waste more money hoping that packaging date would be different and the odor issue was resolved. Do I need to mention that even those with lighter odor cause supset stomach?. Very disappointed and lost as to what milk to gove to my child.

ok for a substitute
Hubby is allergic to cows milk and due to other health issues can not use a lot of the other "milks". Sometimes it's hard to locate goat milk and if I do it's out of stock. Hubby said this doesn't mix up as well as he'd like and he prefers to mix it up each time he needs some. He says it's an ok substitute but much prefers the milk in the carton from the store.

Pet owners, Bakers, Coffee Drinkers
I'm not sure I would drink glass after glass of this, but it is now a must to have on hand. Great for sick, convalescing or malnourished cats and dogs. it's also useful for baking as a lot of bread recipes have dried milk as an ingredient. I will also use it as a backup for coffee creamer when I am out of milk or half and half, like in the middle of winter or the next quarantine period. It's supposed to keep or 8 weeks after opening if kept in a cool, dry place. I intend to wrap the can in a big ziplic and keep it in the freezer, expecting that to last 6 months or a year. Definitely something pet owners, coffee drinkers and bakers should keep in the pantry or freezers.

Not for the lactose intolerant
I fed this goat milk to my kitten and her mother. It gave momma diarrhea so won’t be reordering until I find out if it was indeed the goats milk or something else in her diet.

Good product
I purchased this product for a Momma and 9 puppies to supplement feeding if needed. It worked very well and gave Momma extra nutrients to feed so many pups. No matter how I mixed it, there were small clumps of powder that did not dissolve whether cold or hot water was used to mix.
