Major brand at a great price!
Good well-know brand and it's secure. Very please with my purchase. Disappointed though that the price has gone back up by £5 when I tried to re-order.

Verbatim V3 Store n Go 128gb - Overall for the money its a good Drive
I've tried quite a few USB 3 drives claiming great speeds recently and most have been poor. The Samsung Bar Plus is the best by far however it is more than twice as expensive as this Verbatim V3 Store n Go 128gb which I managed to get from amazon for around a tenner. The look and feel of the drive is good, it is about 2 inches long and narrow enough to only take up one USB port so you can plug something in next to it with no problems. It has a slide out USB port that slides out smoothly, doesnt get stuck and is secure when you plug it into your PC.Speed wise it is actually pretty good and given the price I think it deserves 5 stars. Its way ahead of any other Verbatim drive (the pinstripe sucks) and well ahead of anything by Kingston or Toshiba.I recommend it highly. Read speeds are around 80mps and write speeds are 37-50mbps - see screen print of CrystalDiskMark results attached to this review. For a tenner its good value but for £25 the Samsung Bar Plus is about 50% faster.

Not particuarly fast
First impressions. As you can see from the image, it started off fast (writing at 100MB/sec), then dropped rapidly, occasionally sitting at 0MB/sec for about 5-7 seconds (presumably either the cache being full, or a thermal safety feature) before bouncing up to about 60-70MB/sec (for only a few seconds) and then down like a yo-yo. It doesn't matter if they are large or small files, it still goes slow. It's not just using Windows, it also does this behaviour in Linux, so it is probably the stick itself and not the software.Read speed starts off at 140-150MB/sec, before dropping to 70MB/sec and occasionally peaking up to 100MB/sec, so quite a fast reader, it's just the write speeds that are slow.Normally Verbatim is a reliable brand, and this 128GB stick was only £9.98, so I hope it's a Slow And Steady stick. Probably best for archival data.

Expected better write speeds!
Below I've listed the read/write speeds on both USB2 and USB3 ports.So clearly the read speeds are excellent, and show the difference in transfer between USB2 and USB3. Unfortunately, the write speeds are disappointing on both USB2/3 ports.Overall, I'd say an average usb drive, very cheap. Don't bother buying if you need fast write speeds, otherwise it's not a bad buy at the price,USB 3.0 results:* MB/s = 1,000,000 byte/s [SATA/300 = 300,000,000 byte/s] Sequential Read : 74.632 MB/s Sequential Write : 5.584 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 66.745 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 0.592 MB/s Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 5.678 MB/s [ 1386.3 IOPS] Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 0.040 MB/s [ 9.9 IOPS] Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 7.379 MB/s [ 1801.6 IOPS] Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 0.038 MB/s [ 9.3 IOPS]USB 2.0 results:* MB/s = 1,000,000 byte/s [SATA/300 = 300,000,000 byte/s] Sequential Read : 34.224 MB/s Sequential Write : 5.335 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 33.122 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 0.548 MB/s Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 5.039 MB/s [ 1230.2 IOPS] Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 0.055 MB/s [ 13.5 IOPS] Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 5.980 MB/s [ 1459.9 IOPS] Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 0.035 MB/s [ 8.6 IOPS]

Neat
I was using my Mp3 player in the car and although hidden away I didn't think it was a good idea to have an expensive bit of kit available for someone to lift. I bought this stick and transfered my music to it and reckon for a lot less than a tenner I have a good solution. The sound quality is almost as good as my Sony Mp3 player but the slight dip in quality is not easily noticed over the noise of the car as I don't play "Smoke on the water" at full volume however tempting.

Cheap storage and proven reliability.
Amazing price for the storage. Seems fast and being used every day it has proven reliable too. Only downside is that although there is a hole through the sliding section to attach a key chain, there is only room for a tiny circular link which isn't included so you have to track down one of your own. Personally I think these things should always have an easy key chain attachment.

Vibratim 32GB usb3 Flash Drive
Very good price, works well without problems, but the speed is not fast enough, that's why i give 3 stars. In usb2 interface the write speed is 8MB/sec and the read speed is 26MB/sec. I expecting to be more fast devise than this, but for that price it seems to be ok.Im coming back to continue this review, i have test it in usb 3 interface and seems going very fast as suppose to be. The write speed is 20MB/sec and the read speed is 75 MB/sec average. I will change my rate to 5 stars because i believe it worth it. Thanks for the comments!!!
