I found these are an Ideal harness for short legged dogs.
I have two Dandie Dinmont Terriers which are similar in statue to Dachshund, short legs and deeper chests. This makes it difficult to find a suitable harness that is comfortable for them to wear and does not slip out of place. What I like about the harness. It has a wide padded support band covering the chest area in front and underneath. This helps preventing the harness from slipping sideways. Contrary to previous reviews the straps do slide easily through there openings for ease of adjustment. I also like the design in that there is only one adjustment buckle per strap and that this does not that interfere with the movement of the leg. If you have dogs like mine that tend to walk behind and not in front, have no fear the harness is such that it will not slip over the dogs head. So the dogs find them comfortable to walk in and I have no worries about the harness slipping over there heads. I would buy again especially as the are reasonable priced as well.

Dog is happy!
I bought this harness to replace the previous one which went over the head which my dog didn't like! it took a little while to adjust the straps to the right length as it didn't come with any instructions, so it was a bit trial and error but I eventually managed it! it is very easy to put on my dog as she just steps into it and just one click to do it up. It appears comfortable and strong and she likes having it put on, so she is now a happy dog!

good quality harness
Took a bit of effort to adjust it to the right size, but after a few attempts it fitted really well. I like the thick clip for my lead to attach too, and the dog is happier stepping into a harness rather than having to go over her head. Happy dog ,happy customer.

Very disappointing
Good quality. The size of the holes for the tapes to go through were just too small for the adjustment buckle. No quality control when made.as for “no pull”, it is just. It true.

This is made to a high standard and I feel my dog is safe and secure when wearing it. It is also known as a step into harness so it doesn't go over dogs head. I'm very happy with it.
