A very good watch and pleasant family viewing
I got this as we dont have TV and therefore can decide what we watch. This is just the sort of thing that is worth catching up on and although shorter than I would have liked, is well made and pleasant family viewing. A nice gift for our esteemed elders and betters with bus passes.What you get is a DVD with spliced together good bits from countryfile. There is also an extras section but to be honest, they are nothing specialI like Adams Farm the best. What lucky folks growing up with all those wonderful animals in that stunning countryside. Farming is hard work we all know that, but the rewards surely outweigh the struggles..especially at lambing or calving time. Adam seems like a decent and very competent chap and his animals are fortunate to have such a good set up to live in. If the whole DVD was on Adams farm that would have been fine. There is one I see but its a bit dear for now and also short

As a regular viewer of BBC Countryfile, I enjoyed this DVD which takes us on a tour of theBritish countryside throughout the seasons. I was not disappointed, as all of the regularpresenters make their contribution to this show, John Craven, Matt Baker, Helen Skeltonand Ellie Harrison, plus Adam Henson on his farm during the Harvest season and a 25thAnniversary episode of the show, with previously unseen footage.Countryfile is a lovely way to relax after a busy day at work. broken broken inside.
I was pleased the DVD arrived on time, as this was part of a birthday gift. Sadly, when shaken there seemed to be something wrong. I reluctantly opened it to find the centre of the case was broken allowing the DVD to be loose.I just hope the DVD has not been scratched by the loose plastic.

Good value and always easy watching
Always easy watching - most know what Countryfile is so little point on embellishing on that.(We actually use it to keep my mothers dog occupied [who is addicted to looking for other animals on TV]),it was well worth the money just to keep the damn thing quiet - but that's another story .... !!
