We wanted to try something like this as an alternative to using our gas / wood burning fireplace around the kids. It always made the house stink and wasn’t safe. This insert is awesome! It’s very well made, and fit perfectly inside our fireplace. When behind a screen - it looks very real. The heat element works great too, a tad noisy on the highest setting - but really adds warmth to the room. If you neatly run the power cord in a color match cord keeper, your friends and family won’t even notice it being plugged in. Great design, smart product and works very well. Having the ability to control it from the remote is the best part too.

We decided to not have our gas heat turned on this winter and opted for a space hater (which I've always been skeptical of cause none have ever heated our house correctly) Let me just say that this heater is the best heater I've ever purchased. We have a three story row home and we put the heater on the middle floor in front of the vent in our living room. I set the temp to 73 on a night that was pretty cold and it heated all of the floors of my house so well that my son thought we had the heat turned on and asked me to turn it down cause his room was too hot. The temps range from 70 - 95F. The remote never worked but to me, there is no need for a remote because you can download the app to your phone and adjust everything from temp to color scheme with the press of a button. I thought I would have to buy two of these but so far this one heater is enough for my entire house. Ive been running it a couple of weeks now and will update my post if it doesn't last all winter. Also, the colors they have for the background are beautiful. You have your choice of different combinations. It has the option to turn on the fake fireplace sounds too. The air blowing out is barely noticeable like a lot of electric heaters. For the price, this is the perfect heater.

Read the review of the guy who converted from wood to gas and then had to repaint the living room from the soot so he went with this, and as someone who had been considering doing the same thing with a 24ft vaulted living room, I decided I should also try this. After a week of use, here are my thoughts:Pros: Color, lighting, design, and heat are all top-notch. The remote works well. No smell from the heater and it really brings my formerly dead fireplace to life along with the flat black fireplace paint I also got from Amazon that I painted the fire box with.Cons: This is the only reason I knocked it down from 5 stars is that it does make sound (if you want it to and turn up the volume), but it really doesn't sound anything like a crackling fire. Just sort of odd clicking sounds through the worst speaker ever. It's so bad that if I was designing this I would remove the sound altogether because it takes away from what is otherwise a good product. So, I use ours without sound, and it works great.Overall, I would recommend buying the insert and I think it is good value for the money. The opportunity though for the company is to either improve the sound or remove it. Otherwise, everything else is awesome.

The media could not be loaded. For the price, I honestly had no expectations. This unit was super easy to put in my existing fireplace. Luckily the cord length, while short, did the job. The appearance when off is not to hookey. I have seen very expensive units look worse and comprebly priced unit look worse. When on the look is nice. Obviously fake, but that should be expected. What it does is add a cozy ambiance at the Touch of a button. As to heat. I did not expect this to heat my 400sf living area by itself, nor should I. The description says it is not a primary heat source. That being said. It does heat my place fairly well. In fact when the neighbor below has their heat on I ask, do 2 secondary heat sources equal a primary heat source? It is not silent when heat is on, but I am not bothered by it.

The media could not be loaded. We have been wanting to convert our small fireplace from gas to electric for a few years now as we do not like burning wood. Load the wood, keep an eye on and poke it around, embers flying out, ashes needing dumping, and creosote issues. Oy vey! We used fire logs which were nice, but were just as messy as wood. We never really enjoyed burning and the small size of the fireplace made it somewhat prohibitive. Anyway, since we had not converted our fireplace, I decided to see if I could find an insert that would fit and look pretty like a fire. I did some research and found Turbro and reviews were really good. We have only had a few days, I am so pleased with it, and I am very happy whenever I turn it on. It looks wonderful, very quiet, and heats our small living room well. I am really enjoying my fireplace now. As an aside, I don't miss the crackling sound of burning wood as in the past, popping embers singed my carpet past the tile in front.

The media could not be loaded. This little Electric fireplace insert was delivered fast. Easy to set up, works with the TUYA app on our phones and seems to be very efficient at heating the area we have it in. It's a large living room 15X20, with a dining room and a foyer Open to the living room. The flames are ok (a little fast for my taste but still attractive.) I like that the colors of the flames can be changed and the brightness adjusted. The crackling sounds are cute - not terribly realistic but it's not a real fire to begin with so we're happy with the sounds. (The sounds can also be adjusted louder or softer or silent)Our last faux fireplace had a remote that would not work from where I was sitting - which made it NOT a remote at all. The remote for this fireplace insert works like a charm from my chair. All in all a good buy for the money! I can easily recommend this Turbro fireplace. We have only had it for one day so if anything changes in the future I will edit this review. See attached video...The flame is on high setting. Didn't record any of the other colors because I happen to like this one best. When we watch tv at night the flames will be on low. 👍

La chimenea está muy bonita, si calienta la habitación aunque es muy grande el espacio si ayuda a quitar la sensación fría y poder estar más cómodo. Es muy relajante observar las flamas que si dan aspecto natural.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this to put in my senior parents' fireplace. Wood is so messy, and switching to a propane insert was too expensive, but they missed the coziness of the the fire. I was skeptical, but this is phenomenal! So realistic it could fool you into thinking it is a real fire. All it is missing is a crackling sound, and it would be perfect.
