Surprising quality for the price,. Lid is a heavy sold metal with a brilliant gold color. The glass container is a pure black with a subtle gold printI particularly enjoyed the scent, it's rich but right balance of present without being overpowering.Good purchase will buy again for myself and gifts

The Smell is AMAZING!!

Weak Scent
This is an expensive feeling candle. It seems as if more work went into the container than the actual candle. The scent was very weak and I could hardly smell it for 3ft away, burning all day.

The presentation is quite lovely! This would be a beautiful gift. The scent of the candle is similar to masculine cologne scents. The candle is 8.8 ounces and has a 50 hour burn time. If it lasts for 50 hours, each hour costs .54 cents (not including tax.) The lid is made of metal and has a substantial weight. Once the candle is used, I have no use for the lid. I wonder how much cost it adds to the candle. I would rather have a larger candle without the fancy lid that will eventually end up in the trash. I feel the cost is excessive for this product. There are lots of very nice masculine scented larger candles on the market that cost less and burn longer.
