I purchased this because my landline is now 100% fibre and works through my internet router. If there is a power cut my landline won't work, so I purchased this really basic analogue phone for emergency use in case of a power cut, as recommended by my phone company (BT)*. This really inexpensive phone seems to have a few useful gimmicks but I can't get it to work. I need to phone BT and get some advice, but I will have to work up some enthusiasm to call them and be prepared for what will probably be a pointless conversation. * I live in a rural area where power cuts are fairly frequent.

Got it coz it was cheap fed up of batteries wearing thin all the time n giving up. Sounds a bit tinny when talking to someone… wish the voice came over as loud as its ring that’s pretty piercing

Bought as a spare phone, very light. Works , so all good

very basic but ideal as spare

This phone works perfectly but is very lightweight and keeps getting knocked off the side. I only wanted it for a spare phone so can’t really complain but if you were using it daily I would suggest spending a bit more money on a heavier phone
