Mineral Ion Sanitizer Cartridge Filter Sticks for Hot Tub Spa

We replaced our old hot tub with a Hot Springs Flash model that has a built-in salt system. I only recently became aware that I could use mineral sticks with that system. I got these on a whim not knowing if they would fit. They do, they install easily under the screw off cap that holds down the filters. They come well packaged and seem well made. I compared the active ingredients to the manufacture recommended mineral sticks, they are the same. It's been installed for 3 weeks. So far so good with nice clear water. I will gladly purchase these if they last anywhere close to 4 months.

I have been using this as a replacement to the manufacture's far more expensive cartridges and I do not notice any different in water quality using the same routine, so for the price, I would say it is a good substitution.

All Watkins Hot springs spas allow use of a silver sanitizer cartridge to help keep the water sparkling, but the factory original cartridges are quite expensive. These Vridale cartridges look identical, and claim comparable specs, but cost far less than the OEM cartridges. These seem to work just as well as the OEM cartridges, at least to the extent that I can tell with the naked eye. The water in my spa is clear, so I am pleased with these cartridges.

Happy with these, they appear to be exactly the same as the one that came in my hot spring spa upon drop off and install. Cheaper than my pool store

For the past several years, I have been buying a different brand of Silver Ion Sanitizer for use in my Hot Springs Grandee hot tub. The cost for that competitor product was literally three times higher than the Vridale part. The attached photos show the competitor product on the left and the Vridale part on the right. The mineral contents listed on the packaging is identical with 0.92% Metallic Silver from Silver Nitrate. Neither product specifies what the "Other Ingredients" are, so it is not possible to say that they are completely the same. Physically, the cartridges appear to be the same shape and size. These cartridges need to be replaced every four months...I will use the Vridale part next time I need a replacement, and will update this review with any new info...but, I am confident that these are the bargain I have been searching for!
