Nice little addition to the tool box.
I've been looking for a while now for a light weight recrip-saw that I can use one handed over head for at least 3 or 4 minutes without getting fatigued. I found a shorter blade than the ones that come with. Takes my Makita batteries and that's also a plus. Wish it was brush-less, but for the price, I'll deal with it. I am far from a power user and most of my projects are light work and soft materials. So I don't foresee any problems of burning it out with excessive work load, expecting it to perform like an actual sawzall as I see some users do. These under 70$ tools are not meant for daily construction business use as most should realize by now. Its more for simple do-it-yourselfer's home projects. So don't get bent out of shape if it fails halfway thru re-doing your porch floorboards. I am a disabled combat vet and I just want to use this to cut a small rectangle in my ceiling to install an outlet. I did however recently use it to chop off 6 thick hard plastic legs on a roll around office desk chair so I can put it in the recycle bin. I ended up taking a break long before the saw ever needed one and it worked beautifully. If I get a couple years out of it, I'll be happy and gladly purchase another in replacement. These may not carry the Makita name, but I'll bet they were produced in the same factory! The biggest part for me is it's light weight and easy to use one-handed. That it uses 18v LXT Makita batteries is just a bonus. Have any questions, feel free to ask, I'll do my best.

Can't beat for the price
I was not expecting to be able to use this saw for as many things as I have. Great design, quick blade change, and fits my makita batteries perfectly. Does use up the battery pretty fast, but small trade off for the job it does.

Terrible tool
I got about 15-20 minutes out of this tool before I smoked it. It will not work anymore and don’t cut through more than 2 fence posts. All in all the worst reciprocating saw I have ever used. Do NOT buy this product unless you expect to only cut soft materials very quickly and want to save money. You are getting what you pay for.

Great saw
This was a great addition to my husbands tool kit! It works with a mikita battery pack (you need one it’s not included).

It's a tools that has its place
Irrigation and lav hook up, are this tool's perfect place. But I give you this warning if you're a high-end.Plumber working with schedule 40 anything bigger than 1.5 a majority of the time.Do not get this tool, It's good for small jobs ,But it lacks powerIt's pros are It's light weight and it's compact andCons1.A little weak2.It's not brushless3. Factory Makita battery's a little tightThis was designed to take the off brand makita batteries that you can find on Amazon [ 2 for $58 ]

They were helpful with warranty replacement
This worked reasonably well for 6 months...but then it just stopped working. I smacked it a few times, and it came back to life for a hot second...but doesn't saw at all now. Light comes on and tried multiple fully charged batteries.I contacted Amazon about a warranty replacement. They said the product was outside the 30 day return/refund window, and suggested i contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer was great and immediately offered a replacement or 75% refund. I liked the tool, so they are sending a replacement. I’m satisfied.

Outstanding Cordless Recip Saw!
The media could not be loaded. Given that I've used the 18V original manufacturer's cordless recip saw for years (same batteries fit), I'm confident to speak about this non-OEM saw .... it's great! And it's quiet, ergonomically comfortable, and the variable speed aspect is beautifully sensitive.Several excellent blades are included. Highly recommend.
