Q: How thick is the sole?

Very thick, these are the most comfortable work boots right out of the box, I have ever owned, the sole is 3/4 inch the instep, in front of the heal is 1/2 inch.

Q: They don’t come my size in wide width...are the regular width pretty roomy?

They use English sizing so they are sized 1 size larger than USA sizes and they don’t come in half sizes. So, if you wear a 9, you should buy an 8. If you wear a half size buy accordingly and also purchase the dr Martin insert

Q: Does dr. marten makes any alloy toe boots for women? i work 8-10 hour shift, but i can’t find any lightweight work boots from dr. marten’s. so sad!
