Lorenzo: A Grumpy/ Sunshine, Dark mafia Romance (Chicago Ruthless Book 3)

Another excellent story from this author. I loved all of the characters and the story line, it is very well written. Glad he got his happy ending

Lorenzo ( the eldest Moretti) has been looking after his sick wife until she takes her last breath, the grief he has endured is heartbreaking and the sunshine has disappeared from his life that is until Mia comes to his home needing help. Mia also married but her marriage was far crueller and shocking until she’s had enough and comes looking for Kat her cousin( Dante’s wife) Lorenzo feels he doesn’t deserve happiness but their attraction is undeniable and hot. Drama, violence, great characters and such a loving family environment makes this book so thrilling and unputdownable. My heart broke for Lorenzo, he wanted Mia but denied his feelings for so long. Mia was strong, fiery and deserved a happy ending. Personally I’m not into the Dom/sub genre but these two were hot.

I absolutely loved this book, it was full of drama, excitement, emotions and action. It’s been a long time since a book had made me cry but I throughly enjoyed reading this book and the whole series!!! I would definitely recommend this book and the series!!

This book was amazing. Like all of Sadie’s books. Well written. Amazing characters and the spice!! 🌶️🌶️🌶️ you will not be disappointed

I really enjoyed the first half of the book, the plot was great, there was character development. But the 2nd half felt like it mostly just sex with repetitive plots aspects. And I really despised how degrading some of the dom sub scenes were. Especially the one about her being a dog and sleeping on the floor and not letting her talk yet at the same time saying how he loves that she is a talker.

A very good read that I truly enjoyed. I liked the story and the way Lorenzo and Mia came to develop feelings for each other. I think making them fall in lust before dalton love was the perfect way for their story. A good plot and some interesting subplots. I also enjoy seeing so much from the previous characters. My only criticism is around the Italian used - it needs a second look as you can see some typos.

I enjoyed reading this story. Book 3 in the Chicago Ruthless series. Lorenzo was the moody, brooding older brother of Dante. Mia is in need of a safer place. I don’t think Lorenzo knew what to do with Mia, a self confessed chatterbox. Full of life and sunshine even when her own life has been so dark. These two are lie chalk and cheese. But eventually Lorenzo gives in despite his own tragic loss. A good storyline and likeable characters. Drama, violence and some kinky sexy scenes.

I absolutely adored this series.Dante and Kat and their football team of kids, Max and Joey and their babies and of course Lorenzo and his sunshine ☀I absolutely love how his first love wasn't forgotten or ignored, how she was just as much part of this story as she was the first two books. That was amazingly written and something I've not experienced in books before.This book and series is an easy and definite read for mafia romance lovers.. and so easy to follow from book 1 with Dante to book 3 with his brother Lorenzo

The first couple pages remind you of how at ease Sadie Kincaid can make you feel with her writing. It’s like coming home, being wrapped in a blanket burrito, handed cocoa and told you can have the entire day no interruptions.The spice was fire starting almost immediately and you can see why, Lorenzo and Mia are combustible.At 40% I was having my heart ripped out of my chest and balling my eyes out. Mia is so strong it’s absolutely incredible. To live through everything she has and still know she deserves to me more than a fling and to know in her heart that she was falling in love with this dark pit of a beautiful man….AND WALK AWAY?? Just jaw droppingly strong. I couldn’t believe all of this was happening and I still had more than half the book to go.I had completely forgotten about the letting Anya have Max and those pages had me crying again!!!! Never had a Sadie Kincaid book made me feel this much sadness.But then when all heck breaks loose and our girl Mia defends herself against her piece of crap husband, you find out where Lorenzo stands. And then he hurts her AGAIN!!!! And I HATED HIM!!! I wanted to scream and yell and tell him how he is letting the best most beautiful sunshine woman out of his life!Don’t worry, he made it right!This story is so rich and so much happens and it is so full of light and dark in such a drastic dichotomy it keeps you straddling the middle constantly!Their Dom/sub relationship although super sexy, was minimal and easily could have been skipped but I’m glad it wasn’t because it is definitely a huge part of who Lorenzo is.Mia is sweet, kind and has endless amounts of grace. Lorenzo is brash, dark, grieving and heavily in love with Mia. The perfect grumpy/sunshine. ♥️

Que d’émotions, Lorenzo m’a donner envie de pleurer tant la douleur de son deuil était poignante, envie de le gifler tant il était odieux envers Mia puis envie d'avoir un homme comme lui quand il a enfin repris ses esprits.Mia est adorable mais bon sang quel courage, persévérance et amour : supporter Lorenzo dans ses mauvais jours.... bravo !Attention les thèmes abordés sont très sombres, le côté BDSM assez poussé et donc les scènes 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 sont 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥A lire +++++

Beh che dire? Quasi metà libro mi ha entusiasmata, scorrevole divertente nei dialoghi , ho riso e ho pensato che questo sarebbe stato il miglior libro dei 3,ma poi lei che perde il cervello e la dignità, lui che si prende cura di lei umiliando la e limitandola a essere se stessa, ma sono tanto felici! Bah io lo avrei ucciso svariate volte facendogli provare le sue stesse punizioni! Non ci siamo proprio!

The dynamic these two have is impeccable. Two opposites definitely attracted each other. Lorenzo Moretti is a killer. A broken man and Mia Stone is a fruity kind of person. He should frighten her but instead he intrigues her. She wants to be his submissive. He is still mourning his wife, while fighting the urge to dominate her… but I was left speechless. Every chapter had me on the edge… this is a 10/10. Sadie Kincaid just did it again!

The book was almost perfect till about 50%. Dom / Sub relationship didn't fit to the characters, in my opinion. The heroine was a strong woman and her so called "training" didn't add anything to her strength, but took it away. Based on my personal opinion.
