Q: Exactly what material is this made of? What does the label say?

I bought the Large Navy Blue and the label reads 100% Polyester

Q: I want this as a stocking stuffer. When it arrives, which size would fit in a stocking?

Seriously? If you are a giant and have a big stocking then go large. If you are a extra big giant with a humongous stocking go with extra large. If you are just a regular human move on man.

Q: Has anyone had trouble with markers bleeding through onto stuffed animals inside?

Yes, the markers bleed through. But, I colored it in when it was empty and I used permanent markers (different colors) because I wanted a different look and I wanted the color to stay. If you use washable markers the stuffies should wash as well but it’s a hassle non the less.

Q: Can anyone with an XL tell me if it would be filled adequately by using a queen sized comforter as filling??

I would say no. Even if it is thick and fluffy when you put it inside as soon as you sit on it you will most likely be only inches off the floor because it will compress significantly. My daughter has tons of those little stuffed animals about 10-15 Build A Bear sized animals, some throw blankets and a stuffed unicorn (one that is the large obnoxious carnival size!) and it’s still only half full and firmly 12 inches off the floor not 48” as it appears in the picture. I love how much it holds but to just put a queen comforter I would get the medium.
