A good choice
I looked at lots of smart watches, before deciding on the Garmin, one of the things I really wanted was a good battery life, so many needed to be charged daily, the Garmin lasts me a couple of weeks, it’s a nice looking watch, sturdy, looks nice on the wrist, has so many good uses, I like the display, it tells me to be active, says good morning and gives me a report, not to bad to set up, I’m not very good at that, glad I chose this watch.

Excellent smart watch
Having had a Fitbit for years I decided to treat myself to this Garmin. I’m very pleased with it. It is easy to use and has a lot more activities to record such as open swim as well as pool swim and skiing. Colour is also fab for a purple lover!! For it’s functionality I feel it’s good value for money.

Love it
I had been looking to switch from Fitbit for a while and did quite a bit of research. I finally settled on the Garmin Vivoactive 5 and I am really happy with my purchase. I've been using it for about 4 weeks now so I think it is a good time to review.I chose lilac (it was the prime day sale option haha) but I really like it. The watch is lightweight and the strap comfortable. It's long so should fit most wrists. I have had skin irritation from other watches in the past - so far so good with this one. I will confess I haven't detached the straps yet so no idea if this is faff free or not.The watch itself is easy to use - although I would definitely recommend googling and looking up the manual online! Made life a lot easier, particularly for strength workouts as you need to input each exercise as you do it. A bit of a faff at the time but I am used to it now and it's worth it to get the detailed information at the end.You can easily access your steps, active minutes, sleep data and body battery from the home screen.Watch battery seems to be good - although I do tend to charge most mornings when I get ready. It's now lunchtime and the battery level has dropped 2%. As a guess I reckon I would get 4-5 days without charging including tracking workouts every day.The Garmin Connect app provides such detailed information - I was actually quite surprised given what you get with Fitbit (unless you sign up to premium). The body battery is great and really useful, as well as the training hours for recovery. You also get in depth sleep analysis as well as the usual heart rate, HRV etc. This data is all standard with Garmin and one of the main drivers for me finally ditching my Fitbit. You can also edit workouts, so for example on a strength workout you track your sets as you do them, but then you can go in the app after and put in the actual exercises. You can also input distance for indoor cycling and get your avg speed etc. Very helpful.Overall I think this watch is excellent value for what you get from it. To really get the most out of it you need to input the extra data but if you're happy to do that it's a no brainer.

Great vale, very accurate
Had this almost 2 months now. Battery is amazing with notifications and other features turned on it last about 11-12 days. Steps are accurate. Can log different activities. The sleep monitoring is useful along with body battery. Good that it reminds you to move. Like the intensity minutes features. Monitors heart rate. Love this watch. Spent ages looking at lots of different models. This is perfect.

Very happy
Had been recommended a garmin Vivoactive by a friend and after doing a bit of research decided to purchase. This seller offered the best price. Ordered it and am extremely happy with it. Service and communication from start to finish was flawless. No problem recommending the seller.Product is simple to use, unfortunately I had a little issue getting it charged initially. Lead came with product but no plug. As it was a USB-C I hadn’t any fittings. Husband got me sorted through his laptop when he got home. Forgive my old school ways!! All sorted now and happy. Hopefully that will last

Brilliant watch for tracking fitness and keeping motivated
I bought this watch as an upgrade from a cheap generic watch. What I love about it is that it has many functions to track your health statistics throughout the day. The gps function allows me to track my walks perfectly. After a run on the treadmill you can calibrate the watch so that it tracks your distance ran perfectly, which my previous watch couldn’t do. I love the function where it gives you things to do to reduce your fitness age and with all the challenges on it, it keeps you notated to keep going and work hard. It also pairs easily with strava for tracking your runs and taking part in challenges on there too. The display is bright and easy to navigate. Colour choices are great and could find something that fitted my style. My only grip with it would be that it only provides you with a silicone strap which gives me a rash so it would have been nice if the had included a stainless steel strap as well so you would have the option but aside from that it’s fantastic, and stainless steel straps are easy to find for this model.

My wife loves this thing
My wife loves this thing, it has all the right things and is easy to setup on both iOS and Android, the battery lasts a good 5-6 days for her and is comfortable to wear unlike some the others, just a little on the expensive side at time of purchase was £250 but have since seen it lower at £195
