Trip packing saver! This is 2nd box of these that I ordered for trip to Italy. 1st one was with the rechargeable pump. I needed more bags and thought for 2nd box I would get the manual pump just in case auto pump quit working while on vacay. These bags fit so much! I packed 9 of these bags for my trip they get very flat it’s amazing. Both the auto and manual pump work great. These are also good for storage like for linens or pillow cases or winter clothes.

These have been amazing. They solve all the problems I found with other solutions I had previously tried. These bags come in convenient sizes for carryon luggage. They are sturdy. They seal well. The pump is amazingly fast and powerful for how small it is and has plenty of battery power to compress numerous storage bags.While they are sturdy, it is possible to destroy the seals when putting things in and taking them out if you handle them roughly. The best way to avoid this is to not over-stuff the bags--just use multiple bags. Alternatively, use bags that are larger than you need and just don't fill them all the way. I noticed that there are some other options on Amazon where the mouth of the bag is along one of the longer sides. I may try that next time as I think that would make it easier to get things in and out of the bags.I was previously using Eagle Creek Pack It Specter Compression Cubes, which I still think are great. However, They don't compress things down as tightly as I would like unless you really stuff them very full, which is hard to do and really strains the seams. I also had tried the kind of vacuum bags where you roll them to squeeze the air out by hand. Those never worked all that well for me--really wrinkled clothes and were hard to lay flat once they were rolled up to compress.

The bags are very good quality and have been great on my trip. The pump works well but isn't very powerful. I decided to leave the pump at home when I found out just using my lungs to suck the air out of the bags was more powerful.

Friends of mine who travel a lot with massive suitcases they don't carry on, swear by these so they can pack more stuff, so I bought on their recommendation. With a pump you can get far more air out than by rolling. The bags are standard vacuum bag quality, the pump works great and really gets all the air out. I only took one of the bags on the last trip, and was glad I did. I also have packing cubes and they serve a purpose also, have not tried the compression cubes to compare. Was a little concerned taking the pump through TSA in my carry on, but no problems there. Wish I'd know about this sooner, but I have it now.

I had to return item. I'm not sure if I was too aggressive with them, but they torn from where it seals. Only used it once. It was easy to use. If you do buy it to travel ,get it with the electric pump. It is small and saves more space than the hand pump. It worked well until I arrived to my destination and unpacked. My bags were not compressed anymore and had to leave some stuff behind when returning from my trip.

It does the job especially on my medium sized suitcase. I can put enough clothing. However the machine/ pump stops working after only 2x charge.
