Safety First Aid Sterile Foreign Travel Kit

I wanted this specifically for sterile needles for travel to remote areas.It seems excellent and exactly what I wanted - though I haven't had to use any of the contents yet and am hoping not to.....It contains: (very) basic first aid advice leaflet, 1 pair vinyl exam. gloves, 1 small pack of wound closure strips, 1 pr scissors in sterile (presumably) bag, 5 moist alcohol free wipes, 5 alcohol pre-injection swabs, 2 packs of six hypaplast washproof plasters - 3 regular and 2 square plaster in each pack (not very big but presumably aimed at covering an injection site), 2 x IVS05 syringes, 2 x IVS03 syringes, two 0.8 x 40mm needles, two 0.6 x 30mm needles, one 1.2 x 45mm intravenous canula, two dental needles marked 27 short x 0.4mm and 27 long x 0.4mm, one curved suture needle pre-threaded with blue monofilament non-absorbable suture.The contents all fit easily in two clear pockets in each side of the green pack.The pack size is 16.5 x 13 x 6cm. if it was fully expanded (it squashes down to about 3.5cm. as it comes).Weight with existing contents: 180g (not the 99.8g given as shipping weight). It seems strong, has a double zip and a belt attachment loop on the reverse.My only small complaint would be that there is room in the pack to add several other first aid items, probably about as much again as already included, but the clear pockets are designed to fit only the included contents. Anything else added, unless contained in another bag inside, would probably fall out in a heap every time one opened the pack.

I found it quite difficult to find one of these until I found this particular one on Amazon. As a retired nurse who worked with HIV + and +Hep B adults, I didn't want to risk having the potential of a dirty needle stuck in me, should I need it of course! It has the usual first aid bits and bobs but also a variety of syringes and needles and sutures and intravenous needles should I need a intravenous drip. This is very useful if you are going well off the beaten track and you want to reduce your risks! It is packaged in a very small first aid soft bag, that would easily fit in a backpackers ruck sack. I used to have a larger version of this pack but it was out of date so purchased a new one for my travels.Just in case !

Needed this to replace a MASTA Sterile First Aid kit that i have had for yrs. Hard to find a decent first aid kit with as well as sterile needles and syringes. Lots in the pouch, ideal to keep in your day bag when out and about. The while kit is about the same size as A5 and weighs nothing . There is room to add a few of your own things. Just what i wanted for trips to countries when sterile medical equipment is a good things to pack

Amazing. Everything you could need especially if in the country you are travelling to had a higher risk for blood born viruses.

Bought to take on holiday in Africa as a precaution, did not use thankfully.

The pouch received appeared to be much smaller than the one shown and without inner pockets. It arrived outside the delivery time quoted, too late for our journey.

Almost everything you would need in an emergency. However the interdental needles have no syringes. And there are no thread able suture kits. But for the price, a good buy
