Gutermann Sew All Polyester Thread, Navy Blue 0310, 100 m

Ran out of thread on our portable sewing machine.1x roll of threadBought this on a recommendation as the one we have been using for a while simply broke randomly which was causing a lot of frustration.Installed and used this first time, the quality and feel is certainly great, in fact the running of the sewing machine makes it feel totally different. Did a few stitching and there hasn't been a breakage so far. Quiet please with the product.

There I was, waiting impatiently for the thread to arrive so that I could sew a pair of very nice russet elbow patches on to my favourite russet sweater. The great day arrived. Barely able to contain my excitement, I ripped open the envelope and tipped out the spool of thread to find it was a very fetching shade of.... dark brown.It appears that Gutermann and I have very different ideas on what constitutes russet. To be on the safe side, I double-checked the item number - 0423 - just in case it was me, only to find it did match the one on the product description page. Not me, then.OK, it didn't break the bank, so I took a look at their Crimson Red. Maybe that was closer to what I was looking for.Nope. Turns out the colour on that page is virtually identical to the russet. In fact, if you peer closely it's actually a shade or two darker, which, frankly, was no help whatsoever.Outcome: I now have a very nice spool of dark brown thread which I will put aside for a rainy day...or unless I join the army or maybe take up holy orders and rip the hem of my monk's habit. Well, you never know.I wonder if habits have elbow patches...

Good standard of thread and excellent colour match expected from Gutterman. You get what you pay for and this isn’t the cheapest. Excellent delivery earlier than expected which is always a bonus when you’re in the middle of a project.

I bought this during lockdown in the hope that it would match the thread on the jeans I needed to alter. Unfortunately, although it claimed to be the colour to use for such a project, it was not a match. I have waited until the shops open so I can choose visually

Easy to use , ideal strength and good length . Well worth it . Always use this thread very reliable and can be used on all machines , mines 40 plus years old and thread is great for it .

As always with this brand, you get what you pay for...excellent quality. I won't use any other brand for my machine and highly recommend Gutermann threads.

I tried this brand for the first time just recently and have found it very easy to use. It threads easily and doesn't tangle and is good for hand and machine sewing.. So this is my second purchase of this brand and colour to complete my project.

Great sewing thread at good price ,although day late arriving, it was not a problem as I buy before current spool gets three quarters used.
