Hooter's Wing Breading Mix, 16-Ounce (Pack of 2)

Got this and a couple jars of the medium Hooters sauce, perfect match to the restaurant taste. It takes a while to make the wings and shrimp correctly, but take the time, soooooo worth it!

The best chicken fry mix l've tasted in many years.Will go good with fish and shrimp.

My husband decided he wanted to try air-frying shrimp for po'boys and asked me to order this seasoning. I was happy that he wanted to cook, so I happily ordered this two-pack. They came on time and in good condition. I happily relaxed and played with our kids as my husband went to work making dinner. When he announced he was done, I went to assemble my po'boy and realized... he hadn't used any egg or oil to adhere the seasoning to the shrimp. He simply rolled the raw shrimp in the seasoning and stuck them in the air fryer. Needless to say, it wasn't exactly the meal we expected. However, he was willing to give it another go, and the next time followed a recipe for air-fried shrimp while incorporating this seasoning. That venture was much more successful. Long story short, this seasoning got my husband to cook, and in the end it paid off, so I give it two thumbs up.

I received the 2 pack of breading mix and it expired 4 months ago. Contacted Amazon and they issued me a refund. So was happy about it. Love this breading, not sure if it was a mix up,but they resolved my issue promptly.

I'm admittedly not your typical Hooters customer, have never been and never will, especially if this breading is indicative of their food. I used it to air fry a Cornish game hen and tasted the stuff before I started, and even used olive oil and lime juice to help the "breading" (tasteless flour) to stick the the skin. I checked it halfway through once the bird's juices would have activated the flavor of the breading and there was nothing. I finally had to use salt, pepper and hot smoked Spanish paprika towards the end. That side of the bird was okay, had some flavor, but the underside was totally bland. Guess I'll have to spice it up if I ever use it again, but I really wouldn't recommend. Buy some spices (salt, pepper, garlic powder, and hot smoked paprika) and mix them with flour. You'll get more flavor and save money.

I bought this so that I could make the Hooters wings at home and they turned out nothing like the wings at Hooters. From now on I think I’ll leave that to the professionals.I will say I ordered it and had it the next day so if this site has other things I would like to try I would definitely order from this site again.

Received package today and one of the packages was sliced open and contents all over the bag inside. Will not buy again
