Heartless Heathen: Northern Rejects, Book 2
F**M
BOOKWORM REVIEW: Heartless Heathen by Anna Fury
RATING: āāāā.5SPICE: š„š„š„š„.5I know this book is far from a cowboy romance, but for any Yellowstone fans out there who love, adore, worship Beth Dutton's sassiness, boy do I have a character for you.Luna just wanted to visit her bestie in Ayas. What she did not expect was to sass grumpy bartender Titan and set off an intense -- albeit harmless -- feud with the Alpha. Now she cannot seem to stop bantering with him, sometimes to a point of poking the feral animal underneath. He's supposedly a gentle giant per her friends (but she cannot seem to be on the receiving end of that treatment), so if she pokes hard enough, what could he possibly do?Besides, their motley crew of Alphas and Omegas has a lot on their plate. Their attempt to keep a troublemaking pack in check backfires when the powers that be sends a religious zealot to manage said pack. A team of researchers wanting to learn more about Alphas is also coming their way. Luna and Titan should not have much time to feed the fire fueled by their unresolved tension..I really enjoyed this stop in the Northern Rejects ride. Luna and Titan are hot messes in more ways than one, and I love them for it. The chemistry between them was just sizzling from the get-go, despite their futile efforts to fight it. Then Anna Fury adds fuel to the fire with her creativity in spice studies, and it is pretty much a bumpy, thirsty journey from there. This second book in the series can be read as a standalone, but it does bring back characters from this series and from Fury's Alpha Compound series. There are interconnected subplots, but Fury does a great job of infusing details into the story to bring newbies up to speed. It has a fantastic mix of romance, angst, spice, action, and suspense. I always look forward to the book's climax -- no, not THAT KIND of climax, I'm talking the action-filled kind -- because I know Anna brings the intense action. I have to say that I was also not prepared for the waterworks she induces in us with the angst in the end.

Interesting side character vibes
Honestly I read this book to get to CJJ- that will be lit .Titan and Luna was a weird forced angst that I just couldnāt get into . I wanted to like it but it felt like a sideshow to CJJ and Asher-Cherry much anticipated drama that has dragged for 4 books . Please Ann Fury- release these books already .

Hot Hot Hot
This one is quite the journey. I loved Luna and Titanās banter but boy were they a roller coaster. Every time I thought they were getting somewhere there was another turn. The good moments were really really good. Their chemistry together was electric to read. When they finally gave in, oh my goodness. It was perfect. This is my favorite by far of the Northern Rejects series. I am really looking forward to the next book.

I'm ready for this pack to stop acting scared!
I'm ready for this whole Declan business to come to an end. I literally do an eye roll every time he's mentioned. And now we have a religious psychopath to deal with also šš¤¦š¾āāļø. Sigh.... Anywho, I'm honestly ready to know who Isabel's baby daddy is and how things are going to work out between Rogue and Sal. Good for Cherry for standing up to her boyfriend and choosing herself.

Side story just rings false and distracts so much from the story
In this day and age, thinking a politician is so untouchable you have to put up with sex trafficking and everything else, just rings so false. The entire side story with Declan was so unrealistic it really distracted from the main story. It came across as a very contrived way to add needless drama to the point it was almost a DNF for me. Iām not sure Iāll continue with the series at this point. The sex scenes are great, the romance really doesnāt make sense, and the rest of the story sucks because itās so unbelievable. If youāre just skimming for sex scenes, buy it. Otherwise she has better books you could invest in for a HEA.

Emotional Rollercoaster
You'll laugh, you'll cry and then you'll cry because you're laughing. Titan and Luna crank the heat in this hotter than sin novel. It's the perfect book to quench your enemies to lovers, forced proximity, he likes her so much he hates her romance needs. Important bits: multiple person 1st pov with all the open door scenes. Don't wait. You need this now.

Titan and Luna
This has to be my favorite Anna Fury book so far! I love a good grumpy/sunshine, and Titan & Luna certainly deliver. Their dynamic was perfection! It's the perfect balance of comedy, spice, and action. As always, the side characters and cameos from Mitchell's pack were amazing.Do yourself a favor and read all of Anna's books!

Enemies to Lovers š„¹š
Luna & Titan are probably one of my favorite couples Anna has written. This is most likely because Iām obsessed with enemies to lovers and everything it brings to the table. Anna delivered with the angst and sexual tension with these two.I loved watching these characters go through their own inner battles as well as the ones they faced with each other. The development of Titan & Luna from start to finish was beautifully portrayed. The spice tho⦠donāt get me started. That was a whole other level of heat. Panty drenching heat to be exact.I love the ongoing plot throughout this series and absolutely cannot wait for the next book to see more of it unraveled!!

loved it
Loved titan and Lunaās story. The way she wound him up was funny an Iām so glad he got over himself an gave there connection a try although he was a bit frustrating at times there journey wouldnāt have been the same otherwise. Canāt wait to read the next in the series. Would definitely recommend all Annaās books sheās a great storyteller and canāt wait for more.

One click buy Titan and Luna
I always love Anna Fury's omegaverse. Titan and Luna's was every bit the sassy, sarcastic, enemies to lovers alpha badass-ary I was hoping it would be.These characters stayed true to their personalities/characteristics (set up in book one), and we watched them grow into their feelings and attraction. And good lord the spice. It was hot. It was intense and fun and so interesting to see how they fit together (pun intended here) in the end.The subplot that crosses books also has me hooked. Definitely need to know what's happening there too. I'm so hooked.Loved it. Definitely read the series in order for the full experience. You won't regret it. :-)

well well well.
Not my favourite in this authorās repertoire but I still read it and enjoyed it.I found that I couldnāt connect with this story and the 2 main characters as much as others in this series world. Iām really not a fan of miscommunication and this book was full of it. What made it worse was the way Titan dealt with the problems by basically blaming Luna for HIS bad decisions and how she ended up taking the guilt on for everything and apologising. It was a betrayal in my opinion and I struggled to get behind him and their relationship.Sure, he ended up pulling his head out of his behind and apologising for his crappy behaviour, but it was too little, too late for me.That being said, the spicy scenes were on point as always and the main story arc over this series is rumbling along well. I love the snippets we see of the other clans too. Makihan sounds very intriguing.Youāre not going to vibe with every book in a world like this and this one didnāt do it for me, Iām sorry to say.

Ok read
The story line ok but noticed a couple of errors within the book𤷠Also while reading this book I noticed the American pack is mentioned & is even in the story so if you haven't read the first series I personnel think it would be better if you did then you would understand it more.Titan & luna,s story was ok plenty of passion & angst but still don't understand why Titan treated Luna like he did š¤·Worth a read if you have read the other series before hand & want to carry on with story
