***Updated*** their customer service responded to my email. The were nice enough to do some more testing at their factory and then send out a 3rd replacement. Unfortunately, the 3rd did the same as the first 2 so they gave me a total refund. The product works in China apparently, I use Tmobile so perhaps it just doesn’t work with Tmobile. It is worth trying with another carrier. ***end of update***I went ahead and ordered a replacement on amazon. I just not got it and installed it. The replacement does exactly the same thing and the first one.Switching from one sim to the other requires a restart of the iPhone or a reseating of the dual sim adaptor or both. This restarting and reseating only works half the time. The other half you have to repeat restarting and or reseating. This is true for switching in phone settings from either SIM 1 to SIM 2 or from dialing 001 or 002. The same in 007 mode. When you switch it changes to “no SIM” and stats that way even an hour later. Never changing. Half the time if you restart the iPhone or reseat the sims adapter or both the sim switch completes after doing so when the “no SIM” error is displayed. The same happens when driving into a no signal zone. You must repeat my previously mentioned steps! Actually, as I’m typing this email it repeatedly automatically switches to “no SIM”because it is on auto switch. Please tell me that you guys actually field tested this design before sending it out to the market. I am running software version 11.4 on iPhone 8 Plus.Please tell me a way for this to work because I need it to work for my job.

Switching between the two SIMs work, but each time I switch I deal with a looping issue, sometimes infinitely, other times it may work but if I switch again, I have to sit through it all over. The time it takes to deal with getting a proper connection is not worth having the product. It would actually be faster for me to take my case off and switch SIMs manually, however that means I’d have to carry around a small SIM and something to pop the SIM tray out that I could possibly lose, which is why I was hoping this product would solve the issues. I spent close to 2 hours combined over a few days trying to figure it out and still have no such success. The ribbon cable “technically works” and can read and switch between both SIM cards, I just can’t get it to consistently stay connected to service long enough to use it as shown in the videos. However, the SIM cards inserted individually without the adapter get service in seconds and don’t have connection issues. The seller was really responsive and helpful and even offered to send me a replacement or a way to test out a new version. Customer service was fantastic, I just didn’t get what I expected out of the product and returned it.

I so wanted this to work, would have been a lifesaver. Ordered one for my iphone 6s plus, and it worked for about 5 minutes, then the SIM card disappeared and I could never get it to appear again. I think something about the contacts on the SIM card is fragile or delicate, and my guess is if you can get it to work and then leave it alone, you'll be good. However, after sending it back and ordering a second which never worked, I have to say that you're probably taking your chances. Neat design though.

It's working great! I can finally have both of my cards inserted in my iPhone. The trick is: make sure the contact point to SIM 1 is accurate to the contact point to the side of "SIM 1". I was a little bit confused when I first got this kit, but after like 2 minutes, I found the way to do this, and then finished installation process. However, I do need to say there is a LOT of grammar problems in the manual, and making the manual barely readable (I believe it's machine translated), and that is why I tried to install this all by myself instead of reading the manual first (the manual did not say which side should contact SIM 1, so I was confused until I tried to contact the side with "SIM 1" with the contact points on SIM 1). I hope that they can have a better manual for this next time (especially for the translation problems - as a Chinese, I hope them to either provide a Chinese version of the manual, or give a better English translation. Of course, for a product which is on U.S. market, the second one should be a better choice.)Some more things about the auto switch function in the SIM Function Menu (I cannot understand the manual of this part at all due to grammar problems of the manual): The auto switch function is a function that can let two SIM cards take turn. You can set the "on" time for both of the cards, and the default value is 5 min for SIM 1 and 5 min for SIM 2 (it is possible to set the time for each card indivisually, letting them have different values). In this case, if auto switch is on, it will let SIM 1 on for 5 min, then let SIM 2 on for 5 min, then let SIM 1 on for 5 min... and so on. It is possible to set the value from 5 - 999 min.And one more reminder: It supports 2 cards, but it doesn't support to let both of them connected (as the manufacturer already stated). However, changing the "on" card is very easy: Just dial 001/002 for SIM 1/2 and then immediately hang up, and then you can have the card changed. Some other tricks including: add 001/002 to contact list with name SIM1/2 (or other names) and then add both entries to favorite contact list. Then, using force touch on "Phone", you'll see SIM 1/2 on the "My Favorite Contact". It is also possible to add this to the gadget.

Summary: Doesn’t work.Detail: installation instructions adequate and I was able to figure out the gaps in how to install. Initially it worked for a day, even since all I get is an error “Fail to switch!The other SIM card isn't fitted or not connected well.”.I bought this to use in Europe so I wouldn’t have to keep switching SIM cards between by European and USA carriers. This is a great idea and a need, but the execution is lacking and the product doesn’t work.I’m going back to manually switching out my sims :-(.
