So cute and so FUN. While I haven't finished the whole thing, I have put together about half of the items. It is so fun. The instructions are pretty easy to decipher. There are templates for the fabrics and whatnot that you have to cut. I can't see this as a kit for kids. There are a lot of little pieces that need to be assembled with precision.I plan on using my own scrapbook paper for the wallpaper. The kit includes wallpaper, but it is too shiny and not a pattern I like all that well. There are so many parts of this little kit that you could add your own touch to.

this dollhouse kit is a 1:24 or half scale size not 1:12. Lots of fun to put together and super adorable too! Takes patience just like any dollhouse kit I have built! There are lots of youtube videos on these kits just type in the name of the dollhouse you buy and one should pop up to help with assembly :) Super fun for ages 12 and up, anyone younger might get a little frustrated with all the tiny pieces and trying to put them all together.

This was my first miniature build, and I loved it so much that I already purchased my second one. I would say this is a harder beginner build, but it was very enjoyable and the directions were very concise and easy to understand. You will need a tacky glue, and I also like to have a super glue on hand (I prefer gorilla glue over anything else) an exacto knife, fine tweezers, detail scissors (this set comes with a pair of scissors, bent nose tweezers, and a ruler, which were handy, but not quite as fine as necessary) and some binder clips definitely came in handy. There are a few really good tool sets for model building here on amazon, for around $10- $15, that are well worth investing in along with this purchase.Anyways, hope you enjoy creating your own little world as much as I did, pretty sure we all need an escape right now.

I wanted to make a special room for my dog groomer, so decided to start with this kit and go from there. The shell is easy to assemble, as are the lights. I assembled and used a couple of the furniture pieces - cabinet and side table. And just had a great time making the other items to suit my needs. Great basic little kit - it can go anywhere...

Bought this for my 11yo daughter and it required 100% adult assembly. The instructions, while in english were hard to follow and we ended up just allowing our daughter to play with the pieces and put them wherever she wanted rather than have it look like the photo. It still turned out cute and she was thrilled to play with it.

Absolutely LOVE all of these mini rooms. I know people say these are 1:12 scale but they are not. More like 1:16 scale which just akes everything cuter, in my opinion. Mine came with everything so no worry over missing parts but my friend had received hers with a window missing and they shipped it out immediately! Great service for a great product. Plus it comes with all the glue and paint (even though I used my own wood glue and mod podge). It doesn't take that long to put everything together (about 5 hours I'd say) but I "upgraded/personalized" mine.
