Sharp and light
Love this for tree trimming. Haven’t seen a better one. My only complaint is since I use it professionally it breaks after about a year.

Awesome!
I've used one at work for several seasons, bought one for personal use because I liked it so much. Worth the money because I do a lot of pruning. Easy to use, very light, fits into my Scion xB. They hold their edge incredibly well so now I'm looking at getting an ARS hand pruner.

The Telescoping Pruner is a great tool.
I use the Pruners to do the hard to reach spots when I hand prune for customers.Great help after a little practice with it. I can work from the ground or a safer height on a ladder.

Love this item
Love this item! Well made, easy to use. This pruner does exactly what it says it will... the long reach nearly eliminates the need for a ladder, the bypass design and quality of materials allow for extremely precise cuts in tough to get to trees. I absolutely love this thing - it's one of the best tools i've ever purchased... light weight, easy to use, high quality materials, well made - 5 STARS!

Works like a charm!!!
What a GREAT tool!!! The loppers don't always reach where the little branches are. The l-o-n-g telescoping pruner with a pull cord is often more effort that it's worth. It's often cumbersome. But THIS little gem . . . The very sharp blade is activated with a hand squeeze (like scissors). It easily telescopes to 4 different lengths, and is small enough to get the blades into tight spots, where the long pole pruner has a pull-down chain the needs much more room to operate! I PRUNED OVER 120 WATER SHOOTS OFF OUR APPLE TREE IN 2 DAYS! No ladder needed. My husband was THRILLED!!! This one is the '180'. The '160' cuts through 1/4 inch branches. The '180' cuts up to 1/2 inch. It arrived in 2 days, in a very large and long box! Great service, great tool!!!

Quality product; super sharp
Purchased for personal use to trim crepe myrtles and oak trees. It may be a bit overkill as this is a professional, probably commercial tool, but I am a huge proponent of having the right tool for the job. Makes this chore much less tedious and time-consuming.

Does Not Work
They are very friendly and kind, but the product was/is defective. And it took way much time for me to resolve this. They did email me back, but asked for a video, which never could address the problem including the package instructions which were not specific. Also, I had a hard time finally getting ahold of them by phone.

Expected a manual to accompany the telescopic pruner
The piece that protects the blade when not in use in broken. Please ship that item the same address and an owner's manual.Item was shipped without packing slip to show proof of purchase or other product details. Have not used the product yet, so rating the product is hard.

Great for up to 1/2", cuts well, telescoping pole works good.

Lightweight, agile, reasonably durable.
I have compared this for professional use to the Darlac equivalent: It is a far superior tool, it cuts better, the jaws twist open much less, the leverage is solid, and the tool feels like it will take a certain amount of use before failing. Against this it weighs a bit more, the angle of cut is slightly different, and it doesn't hold the cut material. However the Darlac telescopic pruner was flimsy and lasted about a month, this one is now beyond that and shows no signs of wear.As a tool per se it is lightweight so can be operated with one hand at full extension by any reasonably fit person, though it is easier to operate with two. It cuts 1cm woody material well, I would not attempt to cut anything thicker as it will stress the tool pointlessly - it is lightweight with adjustable reach so cannot be expected to cut through thick branches. You need to get used to the angle of the head, but when you do it is easy to position the tool to cut even without full visibility of what you are cutting. Is it good value? Well it isn't cheap, but it will save you from getting step ladders out so often and the risks associated with using them, it makes regular maintenance jobs such as wisteria and climbing rose pruning much swifter, and it is a pleasure to use. For a professional maintenance person with finer pruning needs it is fantastic and worth every penny, for a heavier duty crew it will get destroyed in the van way too quickly in my opinion.

Very good tool
This is an excellent tool, and just what I need for keeping my beech hedge in shape. The blade is very sharp, which makes for quick working, and the manufacturer says the blade is hardened so as to stay sharp longer. Extension and retraction is pleasantly smooth, and the reach is obviously very good. I much prefer the trigger for operating the cutting action, to a cord-operated model. The seller, Sorbus, was extremely helpful in replacing the pruner after the first one sent was damaged in transit.
