AquaelAsap 500 Internal Filter

I have two of these filters in different fish tanks and they work great. Easy to clean and does the job it's intended for.Noise levels vary but not enough to be a big issue.

Bought it for my sons tadpole terrarium to add a little movement to the water as well as filtration. Works brilliantly, doesn't need to be fully submerged and is perfect for the terrarium as the output comes from the top giving us the ability to do waterfall style features.Quiet motor with very little sound and decent suction for what we are using it for. Also the media canister is easy to open up for cleaning and customisation, we added so finer filter sponges along with the included sponge and the flow is still fantastic.That being said, it's only been set up for an hour, so we will see how it goes over the next few weeks. But so far, I'm really impressed. Great choice of you're looking for an inexpensive filter for a small aquarium or terrarium.

Bought this as a replacement for the 700 version I've had for 2 years. It's nowhere near as powerful despite pumping 500 litres around per hour. 200l less than the 700 version but seems weak in comparison. Kept the older 700 filter as a standby only because it randomly stopped. Couldn't risk leaving it whilst on holiday.Ideal filter if you have small fish but would recommend the more powerful flow of the 700 version, but obviously the intake is more powerful and may cause small fish problems!Also recommend water change and sponge squeeze out every 3 days as it has no media just a sponge.

So easy to put together and clean, it’s extremely quiet and works really well. Liked it so much we upgraded to the bigger version to go with our new bigger tank.

First one didn't work at all, ended up buying another one and had this a few months and the suckers have stopped working.

Great quality pump for goldfish tank. Very quiet operation.

Today is March 20th 2021, and I bought this item in November 2020 4 months ago. It just stopped working.. simple as that. No blockages etc. This is actually a replacment for an indentcial filter which I bought on 6 October 2020 and which also stopped working. So 2 replacments are useless! That says a lot of the design!

Less than 6 months since buying this and it fails to have any substantial power. It worked as it should for barely a month then started failing...

cette pompe à une prise de courant non conforme pour l'Union Européenne et est vendue sans adaptateur ce qui est interdit. Cela aurait du être précisé et un adaptateur fourni avec. J'ai déjà acheté la même pompe moins puissante vendue sur un autre site et je n'ai pas eu ce problème.
