Poorly written directions; parts not cut accurately in order to fit together, so not all of the screws can be used to assemble the box; the light fixture included with the box does not work. They would not even turn on.

The package arrived on time. The concept of the box is good but the directions were definitely written by a non English speaking person. They were extremely unhelpful. If you are someone who struggles with putting things together this is not for you. If I didn’t need the box within a couple of days it would go back. It’s several inches smaller than what it’s supposed to be. My hopes is that we sell a few chicks before they outgrow the box. Since I have not used the box yet, I can’t review that aspect of it, but will come back hopefully later.

No screw holes had to screw them in to bare wood,which didn't tighten. Very vague instructions . Not worth the price. Will be sending back.

Kind of flimsy but works ok for 8 chicks

It’s basically coated cardboard and a light system. There’s no controlling humidity or temperature at all. This was not what I was after. If you are raising more exotic type birds as I am keep shopping. I did opt for a larger size and that is about the nicest thing I can say is there is ample room.

I can't wait to try it on our next hatching. The directions were terrible which made assembly a struggle.

The media could not be loaded.  This is working great for my pheasant chicks. Temperature is saying steady at 95F. I was a little difficult at first. But I was able to get it adjusted by drawing a line with a mark on the switches in the off position. Then turning them on to get it adjusted to 95F. It was nice to came with 3pads, lights, heating element, food tray and thermometer.
