This unit is very quiet, and it works well. But I will say I would not put this in my plants of any kind. My reasoning is that this dehydrates, and it really does not grind. If you think about it, the unit can compose the items great. But when you go to put this in your plants it will rehydrate and mildew your soil, and it will have a smell. I tried it. It does not work well. It's great to have a carbon footprint. I usually just throw it in the trash, and it will not smell after completion. I would recommend it but just be warned that it not a real composted to fertilize your soil.

No more food odour in my kitchen! Very easy to assemble and use, I have read many different reviews and comment on different organic food waste composter and I’m quite happy with Idoo. I have used it for about two weeks and did about 3 runs so far. 3L is definitely large enough for us (family of 2). Depend on the moist level and amount of organic waste, machine can take anywhere between 6~ 12hr (including the cooling time) Only part that disappoints is that you can’t out bones, but still our organic waste reduced to about 1/5. So far very happy with the product and I only run over night when there is less energy being consumed and the electricity bill is cheaper compare to day time. It is pretty quiet, you can hear little wooing machine sound but it’s not loud at all (in my opinion).

This is amazing. It works so well. I cannot believe I haven’t purchased this before now. I set the tone on quality of dirt/compost. I add healthy stuff and get compost. I add dry not great stuff and I get dirt. Easy to use and recommend this. No weird smells so far. And I’ve used this over 8 times already

The first time running this, it worked exactly as advertised. The waste was dried and ground down to a soil-like texture. However, every time since (5 different times now), everything dries out, but zero grinding. I've carefully ensuring that all the recommendations are being followed for appropriate items into the device, still no good results. Just dried food. Heavily disappointed considering the price. Would not recommend at all.

I did email the company about it and within a couple days they emailed me back requesting a video. I did that and again within a day they got back to me to let me know they were sending a replacement. The replacement works really good. Much quieter than the one before and it chips and blends so much better. The first one would turn out like chips but this grounds it up to look like dirt. We are very pleased with this new one and we are very impressed how fast the company got back to me and the things they done to make sure we had a good product and happy with their customer service. I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift. He loved it at first. But it was noisy and takes a long time to finish. But we were fine with that long as it still did its job. But using it last night it beeped twice and stopped working. We looked in the book and online for a reason why this could be happening but found nothing. Reading reviews a lot of people were talking about the machine overheats. So we thought ok try again tomorrow. We did try and nothing. We cleaned it out to see if that was the problem but still won’t go. Very disappointed in this machine and the company for not having enough information for us to troubleshoot. I gave him this for Christmas of 2024. But he didn’t use it until beginning of Jan 2025. And today is Jan 16, 2025. So that’s not very impressive. And I bought it in July of 2024 while it was on sale and been in box and stored away until Christmas. But because I bought it so long ago, im outside of the return date. So I’m not very impressed with the compost or the company. So my advise to you is don’t waste your money like I did.
