A great addition and one that will pay for itself quickly
This device and app is easy to set up and works really well. Instead of just having set times and temperatures for the heating in each room it is easy to see where heat is being wasted. I can set the bedroom heating on just ten minutes before I need it from downstairs without having to go upstairs. This might not seem like much of a gain but I used to have the bedroom heating come on at 10pm and go off at midnight every day. Now I can be more selective. My ground floor heating is underfloor and by looking at the thermal history I can see it takes 3 hours to reach operating temperature in the morning and then the thermal mass carries on heating the room for two hours after the heating goes off taking the temperature above the target. Armed with this information I have been able to programme the heating to make use of this delay and it means I've saved an hour of unnecessary heating each day and the ground floor rooms are at the perfect temperature at breakfast, one hour after the heating went off. I hope this is useful. My gas bill has gone down for sure.

Easy and reliable
Have been using this for a couple of months now and it’s been a godsend. Very easy to set up, been a very reliable connection to the heatmiser thermostats and the iPhone application is intuitive and clear. Such a peace of mind to be able to monitor and control heating in a property I’ve struggled to spend time at due to lockdown. Ability to set profiles and apply across the zones in a house in a few clicks. I’ve not tried other remote solutions to compare but can’t imagine easily than this one has been.

Easy to setup and use.
Arrived next day. Easy to set up using their single sheet instructions. App installed on iPhone works well. I have 8 Neostats, which individually were a pain in the backside to setup and adjust. From the app, controlling all 8 is simple. Also plots a graph of the temperature in each room over a period of 1 week. Can control the heating system precisely from my iPhone from anywhere now. Happy with the price and functionality over other solutions on the market. Just waiting for some sub zero temperatures to come along so I can make sure the house is warm for when I return. :- This Neo hub is meant to support Geolocation, so that when I am x miles from home it will turn on or off automatically. Not tried this feature yet.

Quick and easy set up
Works as expected. Easy and quick to set up. Unit looks nice, about 2/3rds the size of a sky router. App is a little dated and occassionaly requires fully closing and re opening, could do with some modernising - I like the ability to see the temperature trend data for the rooms. One downside is that it needs to be directly connected to the router.

Great addition to allow remote control of NeoStats
Like other reviewers, I was deliberating whether to purchase the NeoHub – I did and wish I had done so sooner. I have dual zone heating, with a NeoStat downstairs and upstairs, which control the respective zone valves. My thermostats were installed when I purchased my property but were not ‘smart’ given the absence of the hub. I had contemplated replacing them and purchasing the wired Tado system with additional wired thermostat, but the problems with that are (i) the thermostats can’t be powered from the mains (which the NeoStats are) and so you have to mess around with replacing AAA batteries, (ii) if your internet goes down, you can’t control your thermostats, so they revert to dumb mode with basic temperature control (NeoStats have full programmer functionality built in), and (iii) extra features (such as geo-location, to turn your heating off automatically when you leave your house) come at an additional subscription cost (all included for free with the NeoApp). A few comments on functionality: (i) NeoHub IS compatible with v1 and v2 NeoStats – I have v1s and it works fine. (ii) Contrary to some reviews, Alexa DOES work fine – you just need to make sure you correctly configure the devices in the Alexa app and you can then just say “Alexa, set the [DEVICE NAME] temperature to XX degrees.” My devices names are “upstairs” and “downstairs”.

Just buy it!
Excellent bit of kit. Moved into a new house and had trouble working out how to use all the separate controls in each of the rooms. Using this hub with its app on the iPad makes it so much easier to control and set temperatures for different times of day (up to six!).

Getting better with updates
I am reviewing the product here not the company. It was delivered next day without problems. However this is the second hub I've had to purchase, they come with a two year warranty but mine failed 2 years and 1 months in Sonu had to order a new one. The system has got better over time and is now much easier to use.

I can't believe how easy it was to set up!
20 minutes from opening the box to having 10 neoStat V2s and a neoPlug set up and on the app. Everything worked first time. Very impressed. Big benefit: when we have a power cut, I don't have to go round and set the time/date on 10 stats - the neoHub does it for me.
