This is the type of set that is perfect to have on hand when you really need it. I went through a few wheels so far and all performed without issues, lasted a long time, and I have not had any disintegrate in the process.The 3" wheels are perfectly sized for smaller jobs where being able to maneuver with your grinder is important. They seem to work perfectly with all kinds of materials and being inexpensive as they are, offer a good balance between value and quality.

Excellent quality cut off wheels. I use these for metal working and they cut great and are very durable. I had no problem zipping through steel rebar with these.Name brand cut off wheels can be really expensive, so I am glad these came in a multipack for a pretty good price. I'll definitely be using these more and will buy this brand again next time I need more - which shouldn't be for awhile because these hold up well. They easily earn a five star review.

Needed to get rusted clamps off my exhaust system that would not come free due to all the rust and salt usage in the northeast. Used the cutting wheels to free up the old clamps so that I could replace the exhaust and was also able to cut a notch in the old pipe to release it from the good part of the exhaust that was going to be reused. The cutting wheels held up fairly well. Once the exhaust was installed used the grinding wheel to smooth back the sharp edges of the new clamps threads. For the DYIer these are great because it is a nice mix of 3 different style discs that can be used to get you around the home projects done. Not sure they would hold up as well in a professional environment with constant use but they are perfect for Joe homeowner that doesn't need to purchase these discs in bulk quantities.

These are not high quality grinding wheels, but you don't need the same precision with grinding wheels as you do with cut off wheels. On some days I'm harder on companies that don't identify themselves on their products, but today I'm willing to let it go. I already have a 3/8" arbor mandrel from another set of discs, so I did not need to get another with this set, which I will be using with a standard electric drill rather than an angle grinder. I don't have major grinding projects, so these wheels will do fine.
