Well worth the money
We use these Scotch Brite pads on our 4½" grinders in our shop. They work great on multiple applications. Well made. DO NOT push down on the pad while grinding/cleaning. Let the pad and weight of the grinder do the work. Pushing on the pad will only deteriorate the pad prematurely. And will make a big mess. Do not use on wet chemicals and or soiled grease. Do not use on wet acrylic or tacky epoxy bond. The pad will fail and throw material all over. Wear safety glasses and a mask.

Work well with an appropriate polishing compound on stainless plate and square tubing
I wanted to restore the natural finish to some 304 stainless steel parts some parts I fabricated after Tig welding. First, i used a stainless brush in a die grinder to remove the surface discoloration that will allow the passivization layer to reform. This brushing leaves the surface with undesired scratches.I got these pads to attempt to restore the appearance of the parts. Using a medium then a fine polishing compound, I was able to get the welded sections to look very much like the adjacent areas. Note that I did not want a mirror finish, although that would have been possible using an even finer grade compound. The pads are quite durable and do not fray unless they are applied to a sharp edge. I used them in a air powered angle grinder and their slightly pliable construction made the grinder easy to control.Overall, these seem like a good choice for this application and much better than more fragile pads, like foam or lambswool. In my opinion, they should not be used to polish softer surfaces like painted items as the pad surface would easily mar the finish. But, for unpainted metals, they work really well. I would buy them when this supply runs out.

Excellent Results
Excellent results are obtained with these all wool polishing discs. They fit the smaller hand held grinders and this allows them to get into smaller spaces. They hold up well and hold polishing compounds for efficient work. I like wool a lot.

Amazing attachment! I wish I knew about these sooner
What a great way to quickly bust minor rust off precision surfaces. I used these to clean up c-clamps, old lathe tooling/parts/chucks. They are awesome, but not super durable if you catch an edge it will rip the flaps up. So don't use them to do dishes or you may eject a fork across the room and upset your wife, but they do work and when she asks what you're doing, just say helping with the dishes. I would say they're worth $5 each for online purchases. I forget what they cost at the time I obtained them. They're finer than a strip disc and finer than a 9S deburring wheel
