It's taken a while, but having finally learned enough about using a sewing machine to make things a bit more adventurous than straight seams, I've finally found a use for these zips. My first project is a cushion and I'm very pleased with the result. I sewed the zip first, the only issue I had was the getting the needle guide to flow smoothly over the plastic of the zip. For the first side I sewed it closed, but for the second it was much easier open, with just the last section a bit fiddly.These are a very low priced set and I wouldn't consider using them in anything that required regular use, like clothing. But for a cushion they are ideal, since all of the stitching can be done on inside using a sewing machine with no closing by hand needed. I chose to leave the zip exposed rather than concealing, partly because this is much quicker, but also because the zip actually looks quite good along the edge of the cushion.And size wise they were perfect too, no need to trim or run longer filling seams.Great value.

The zippers are really good quality and an absolute bargain! The size was perfect for the dress I had to repair, the color is exactly as stated, it performs far superior to the original zip which came in the dress and the appearance matched the original! Arrived in good time. I have used 4 of the zips already and I found them equal quality to the zips you may find for £5+ on the high street. I do support the high street but cannot get these things locally due to lock down. I prefer to go and see and handle my purchases usually. Buy with confidence these are well made and sturdy with a lovely flow to the zipper action without being loose; if you know what I mean? Very good would buy again.

These arrived today but be wary of the colours. The quality is good as you would expect but I ordered cream and these are almost yellow.

These zips are good quality so recommend to anyone.
